Shujjat khan is perhaps the greatest exponent of sitar in this era. His vocals are also superlative beyond comparison.

This certainly must be a special devetional poem
It's a devotional song written in memory of 'So Called Saint' [Islam doesn't really believe in saints. You're either a prophet or you're not] Kwaja Mohinuddin Chisti of Ajmer. He was more of a missionary like Saint Francis Xavier- Patron saint of something or other, I know some people say pirates or piracy or something along those lines, can't remember off hand but that's just being mean.
The words go something like:
If truth were anymore or less it wouldn't be truth,
then something about how he looks after the poor,
and what a great person he was that surely the angels must have sent him from heaven.
something about his connection with the prophets? of Allah
and we also get along on those scraps
and a bit more sorry i lost my attention and couldn't be bothered to catch the rest but at least i tried when no one else did!!
Basically whoever wrote this thought quite highly about him.
Here's a bit of information on this highly successful missionary of the Religion of Peace ie Islam. We need to remember that Islam has unnecessarily been related only very recently with violence. Violence was unknown to muhammad the prophet of islam!!! He treated The Jewish Banu Quariza tribe with a great deal of love and affection. Also the Aged 80 yr old Matriarch Umm Qirfa, there is a beautiful upload on youtube about their bond, please find it and watch it. You see Jihad has been misinterpreted as some type of holy war when in fact it is just an internal struggle, personal in nature with no affect other than peace descending on others.
Anyway The life of the great Saint Kwaja Mohinuddin Chisti can be found here, It's everybodies duty to know of this Great soul and the wonderful deeds and many many miracles he performed. His Jihad was nothing but a constant inner struggle, an inner turmoil in a way that made him into an immensly peaceful peace loving Saint. He spread a Jihad of peace like no one else ever did which is why Indians and Hindus in particular flock to his shrine to get their wishes fulfilled.
