@mboutdoors_uk if you get stuck with broken rings on a trip to Anglesey, give me a shout, I may be able to help out. I do a lot of work out of ABC Beaumaris 👍🏻
Wow that was incredible fishing pal !!! I live in Anglesey and never knew it could be so good here for tope !!!!! Looks like you were at the Range and yeah those freak waves can be quite big so Watch out I was hit on the rocks about 2 years ago at ravens point beautiful sunny day medium swell out of nowhere huge wave 4 m above the rocks a miracle I wasn't swept off held on to my salt stand and rods nearly sost the lot oh yeah and myself aswell anyway great video thanks
Thanks for the comments Jozsef! Think I’ve been massively lucky with my run of this summers tope, but I have put in a fair bit of graft along the way as well. Yeah the waves are no joke at times. Always better to be safe than sorry! Good luck if you get out after them mate 🤞🏼
I see what you meant now when you told me it was a special trip. That's unbelievable to catch so many - hope you haven't scared them back out to Sea mate - I'm off to Wales in a couple of days for a bash. I've watched the video on silent as in bed but will be watching again and probably again when I'm up. Brilliant and a fisherman's dream. Keep them coming.
Hi m8 fantastic fishing, if you're ever struggling for bait we're you're fishing, it's the best sea mark for mackerel, but you can catch herring and a few mackerel on the inside of holyhead Harbour all year round, best first light or last light ,use sebiki small hook feathers, you can get dozens of herring, only fish 250 to 300 yard along on the inside .hope this helps especially when early or Late in the year ,keep it up.
Really great fishing there, Thanks.. Q. where do you get the sling? And another stupid Q. can you show what you use to de- hook?? Thanks a Lot. Heading for my first session for Tope in June, Cannot wait
Thanks for watching. I generally use pliers to unhook, using circle hooks they are mostly hooked in the corner of the mouth. I do have a t-bar but to be honest I dont think I’ve ever deep hooked one. The sling is a carp one, Aqua I think 👌🏼
Hi mate class video! I’ve been planning a tope fishing trip to north wales for next summer over thelast couple of weeks because i thought they’d of disappeared by now, how much longer will they be there in your opinion?
I’m by no means an authority on tope mate! Think I’ve been very very lucky with my catches so far this year 😉 From what I’ve been told I think it’s coming to the end of what you’d call having a good chance at banking a couple, but there’s definitely still a shout at catching a big one 🤞🏼
Was on my own so unfortunately all my effort had to go in to getting the thing on the rocks! The filming kind of goes by the wayside when that reel starts screaming 🤣🤣
i previously Fished Anglesey for 20 years on a weekly basis, and have just started again after a 10 yr break. Cant believe the information available on you tube. Not sure if its a good or bad thing but it does seem to attract a certain type of angler (carp angler type). I don't think its these whom leave litter, i would say it is a small minority of all, even locals. Locals seem to think they should take precedent over others because they live there and may need reminding it is all owned by the crown and not the Welsh government. Our coast is for all to enjoy. Also to this they are themselves are more than guilty for posting catches, doesn't matter how clever you think your camera angles its not hard to find. themselves
Thanks for the comments mate. Whilst I am/was a carp angler I’m very much an outdoorsman and hugely respectful of the countryside. ‘Leave No Trace’ should be enforced by public flogging imo! 🤣 As for the locals laying claim to the rocks… I’ve been generally welcomed with open arms by the local lads and indeed they’ve put me on a few marks that I’d have never found by trial and error. That said, my vids show no more than most others I’ve seen on You Tube (locals included!) Thanks for watching 😎
Great Post I think it's a good thing that these post go up as long as there is information on tackle needed and end stuff (so less is lost) and just general info I think it can only be good so long as the message gets across no litter to be left
It's getting ridiculous now with all these videos ppl are putting up,us locals aint getting a look in because ppl from away camping on the rocks and leaving shit everywhere and blaming locals for it
Well I hope that isn’t aimed at me pal. I’ve never so much as left an inch of line anywhere I’ve ever been! Leave no trace!! As for all the vids, I’ve seen plenty from the locals up on here (ncluding you) in recent weeks. I’ve not just wandered round Anglesey and stumbled on it! 😉
That was one heck of a session, the ones we all dream will happen. Great stuff!
It really was! Hopefully it’ll happen again at some point 🤞🏼Thanks for watching 👌🏼
Great session in challenging conditions. In it to win it - and the results are superb.
Can’t catch without rods in the water. If it’s safe then chuck em out! 😆

Forgot to ask, what lb is your Mainline??
Cracking session. Keep some super glue in your tackle bag for those little cuts works a treat
Cheers fella! Yeah good idea with the glue, think I did have some tbh. Will do that next time 👌🏼
Stunning venues on Anglesey. I caught my first tope today..only a pup though. were you catching them at Mackerel rock?
I’ve not had one yet this year! Hopefully get one on the boat next week 🤞🏼
Awesome dude🤘You may have to tell me were the mark is. 🤣🤣🤣
It’s a popular spot. Little bit of detective work should get you there 😉
Wasn’t so popular, now us locals can’t even get on there
@@angleseyfishingadventures126 I’ve never seen a non-local other than me to be fair! Also, had the place to myself for two days this trip 🤷🏻♂️
@@mboutdoors_uk no one will fish in a south westerly winds that’s why

What a trip !! , you got more then most people get in a shore season ,
What time of year was that , late September?
Well done
Thanks mate, yeah was autumn last year. Dropped really lucky for a couple of days 👌🏼
it would have been nice to see you hook and land that tope you had in that sling.

That was sure some fishing from the rocks
Unreal session mate. 🦈 Thanks for watching 👌🏼

Holyhead way 🏴

I don't go fishing there because there's never no room because people like u spoil by putting videos on the tube, stick to your pond fishing pal
@mboutdoors_uk they're just jealous of your catches mate, great fishing continue what you are doing 👍
