@@mboutdoors_uk ive done the same on my lowrance units really dark screan thinking something was wrong turned the master switch off went back after 1/2 hour of reading the manual and bingo all back to normal

Can’t find anything online that says you can’t. To be honest it was a last minute change of venue and we didn’t know a whole lot about it

@mboutdoors_uk yea I just chexked if you look at the coarse permit it says no trolling at anytime , unfortunately it's down to them not wanting you to catch salmon , which is ridiculous to be honest . But mabey have a look through the rules again on the coarse permit , salmon you can troll

Ah that’s a shame mate. I don’t do loads through the winter, but it is nice to get out of the weather is decent. I’ve not used mine for a couple of months now so gagging to get it out for a spin. Fri/Sat looks good this weekend so fingers crossed 🤞🏼

Lost my job so jumped at the chance to come visit my dad, who lives out here ☺️

Had a few perch on other trips but nothing of any size. Will definitely have another bash for the big ones again though 🤞🏼

@mboutdoors_uk so far I've had them to 1lb 8oz but my mates had them to over 2lb , I've had them on gold head nymphs unbelievable on the fly rod and on worms especially dropshot where you set off is very good perch area .
