Good video mate, enjoyed seeing places I ride.If your up for some suggestions in that area I can recommend some good options.I ride that area on my little toy XT250 or my CB500X.From Bunyip State Forest.you could go more north towards Powell town,or going east, from Neerim you could go into Tanjil State Forest, lovely everywhere there, make it as hard or easy as you want.

Great video mate, thanks for posting. How did the bike go on the freeway/highway at speed? Asking because I have a new RE Himalayan on order here in Perth. just wish it would arrive.

Bike ran smooth on the highway. A little bit of vibration but nothing to worry about. Great power and handling.

Lower bike weight opens more riding areas.

It’s a good value bike and it dose every thing it says on the tin ,but there’s 3 things Royal Enfield engineers can look at to improve the bike ,num. one vibration it’s a single but there’s room for improvement ,num two if you let go the bars on the bitumen it pulled to the right be carefull if you do this ,num three the side stand is to short most people think, Royal Enfield there’s always room for improvement ,competition is close behind ,jimmy west Aust

Turn the bars to make it easier to get off the side stand 😉

$2K service cost! That is ridiculous, but typical for BMW. My Pan Am only cost $500 to service. I don't really use the Pan Am as an off road bike, 95% of its time is as a sports tourer or commuter. It is overkill as a commuter, but since 20km of the 25km commute is on the freeway, the responsiveness at 80 to 100kph is beautiful.

    2k a service‽ cost me $1600 for a pack of 3 services for a S1KXR.

I was looking at a secondhand f800 and the owner warned me that I should only buy it if I do my own servicing. Might be something about the f800 or certain dealers that charge more
