This is the right way to test drive a car. Put 4 adults inside and drive for a few days to get a feel. Instead of doing silly sprinting track driving which you don’t spend most of the time doing. Exactly! I drive a VW Passat and driven Audi A4 as well. I can show you the use of a lot of hard plastics in those interiors and it looks like people don't want to see this really.

I've had the Quad for over 5 months now and it never ceases to put a smile on my face and it's even tried to kill me a couple of times. bit more info on the motor lads...............driving at night, no mention of "type" of lights, xenon/laser ect, what goodies do you get for your money/powerfold mirrors/ rain sensing ect
Thanks for the feedback Jerry, we had more info in the walkaround but it didn’t make the cut in a bid to keep the video length reasonable. The lights are xenon, one thing to say about them is they are very good, bright and decent amount of illumination but they have a very frustrating auto dip feature which has a mind of its own. Dips the beam when a car is coming but isn’t great at un-dipping when the car has passed. You also can’t override and do it manually, consequently you can be forced to drive with dipped beam until the car decides to put back to full, really frustrating on B roads when you need good light! This car didn’t have power-fold mirrors but it did have rain sensing wipers. I think a must have option on this car would be the optional carbon backed bucket seats as they would really lift the interior of the car to something really special.
That's the Italians for you, they have always made stunning looking cars, but have ALWAYS suffered with rust and dodgy electrics, looks like the rust issue has long been sorted, but the dodgy electrics still remains, hence the non auto full beam, great channel lads, keep em coming.

Sceptic Frog Hi mate, Matt here. I’ve driven both the new M4 and the Alfa Q now but not the C63. So can help on the two I have driven... For me, it really depends on what you want the car for. The M4 is sexy and fast and, importantly, reliable. It’s familiar almost to the point of nostalgia because of the brand, precise and the interior is decent (but with BMW now so popular possibly for me feels ‘standard’) if that makes sense. I took it round a track with Rupert in one of our other vids (bmw track day) and it so much to give. However! The Alfa is more race car. 100%. It’s sexier, in and out, and sounds literally epic. It’s ridiculous. It’s got Ferrari DNA, race car tech and body work and throws you into your seat hard AF. It has a crazy amount of grip and of course RACE mode! That said, it also has a ‘limp’ mode. That it likes a lot. Who knows if they have fixed it all now, our model did ha e one hiccup with it though. Was fixed with a day. I think the Alfa lacks in reliability on that front for that reason. It is very different though and you less of them on the road than the M4... In summary, for me, Alfa = race car fun on the roads. M4 = reliable, fast but familiar fun. It’s more common. Also you’d probs be comfier in the M4 with a family. So it totally depends on what you want out it do me! Which would be the better daily? Do you want reliability or ridiculousness? Just based on my personal experience - I’m sure there are gaps in knowledge and different takes. Rupert will no doubt give you his!
Rupert here, driven both m4 and Alfa too. The m4 is no doubt a great car, drove the comp pack on track and it was great. The problem I found with it was a very intrusive traction control, with tc on it would kick in all the time abs severely limit the power, this was on a dry track. Turn it off and it wanted to light the tyres up constantly. If you owned one you would become very familiar with the TC light, unless you turned MDM mode slightly better. Brakes were excellent and the feel was very good (non carbon ceramics). The Alfa had so much more useable grip, on dry roads you could drive very fast in race mode (with the TC off) and not really worry too much about traction, it finds grip everywhere! Made it a much more trustworthy and rewarding car to drive in that respect. I think the torque curve must be slightly less aggressive than the m4 as it didn’t constantly feel like it was trying to light the tyres up. The brakes were odd as they took a long time to get used to, way too over-servo’d which gave them an odd feel and bite point. Very spikey. Once you were used to them they did feel like they had reasonable power. Drove them very hard one night on some b-roads and didn’t experience any fade, not sure how they would cope on a track day. Would say the m4 has the better brakes of the two cars. The steering in the Alfa is just superb, so direct, lovely weight and good feel despite being electric. Better than the m4 for sure. Can’t comment on the c63 other than the noise is epic, would love to drive one. If it were my money, I’d go new Alfa and get rid when the warranty runs out!

t5jerry can see what you mean but do think that it’s German rivals are much more angular and bold, whereas in the lines of this car you can definitely see the ‘Italian passion’. Sleek and sexy...those bonnet lines into the V are beautiful
