DIY Fiber Optic Vest Time-Lapse | Fashion Tech Light Up Clothing

Time-lapse of me cutting and layering this fiber optic vest. This custom tuxedo cut vest was a collaboration with @holamockingbird who made the vest base in cream.
I designed and created this fiber optic piece using the new RGB Critter & Fyber Kit by Ants on a Melon Inc. The fibers were hand stitched completely by hand and then shaped / layered to add sparkle. This vest was designed to go over other costumes and has adjustable cutouts to fit over various sizes of under-layers.

How did you get such short lights? All the ones Im seeing are like 6ft to 9ft..

I made this costume using the Fyber Kit Package by Ants on a Melon which you can find here - antsonamelon.com/?sca_ref=2815588.7cxRD0gBdF it consists of 360 end glow fibers all at 6 ft long which I sewed into the garment then trimmed using regular scissors.
