Horary astrology is alive and well today. There's a lot of material published, which is excellent and much appreciated by modern day astrologers I'm sure! I am curious as to whether you worked with any astrologers when looking through the cases. I'm surprised though that William Lily isn't mentioned anywhere that I can see, as a prominent horary practitioner of the 17th century, or the work of Nicholas Culpepper, both of whom published hugely important texts.

Wow! I'm so glad I stumbled onto this. Human medical history is fascinating from so many angles, not just the scientific development. I can't wait to look at the site. Thank you; this must have been an incredibly massive effort to digitize these casebooks!

No, western astrologers used square style charts until relatively recently.

I see doctors handwriting has always been terrible- perhaps the greatest mystery is how they could understand it😂

Well any claims coming from this institution I would take it with a grain of salt. I do like the back ground music though sets the listener in a spooky trans lol talk about manipulation lol and the in and out visual clips are hilarious lol they probably used Final Cut Pro to edit this video lol I wonder if it was a student project for "credit"? lol or did they actually mustard the strength to do the right thing to actually pay someone to create this video? lol we'll never know lol
the fortune tellers are still around lol especially in government lol
