    One hint you don’t mention is Adam’s “late hands” technique which is devastating to the guys covering him, since they don’t have a clue when the ball is arriving to make a play on it.

    • @bobbywinston116
      @bobbywinston116 Год назад +12

      Yea i noticed this too. Its a tough move to perfect but is a great way to secure the catch against tight, elite coverage. Most WRs slow the hands while running for the last second befote making a move to catch a deep ball, but adams sells it by keeping his hands chopping like hes still running full speed and keeping his head in one spot. Then...*Boop*...he throws the handa out for the catch in the last 0.2 seconds possible, when the ball is already right on top or passed the corner.

      Alex doesn't like Justin Jefferson because Jefferson is arrogant, but he's a better receiver than adams this year.

      @@tv26889 This is a silly thought.
      Jefferson couldnt hold adams jock on release and footwork.
      He makes highlight plays and has a healthy adam thielen on the other side.
      Adams has been 1 manning it with nobwaller or renfrow most of the year.
      And has 7 straight 100 yd games.
      Nevah evah been done before.
      Jefferson will flame out like OBJ before long. More hype and flash than legitimate devotion to the game.

    • @EskaaSZN
      @EskaaSZN Год назад +7

      @@richardwhite6062 That is an awful take. Adam's strength is his hop step (release) and ability to find the soft spot in zone coverage.
      Jefferson's strength is his route technique and speed. Look at his footwork, it's a work of art. They both have great hands like any top 3 WR should but JJettas is better than Adams imo because he has more routes to his arsenal.

    Hey Alex, I'm a fan, watch all your stuff, subscribed; etc. First off, great vid as always. Davante is indeed that dude, the brightest note in the Raiders' sad season. Second, thanks for that recent Justin Herbert vid, which answered a LOT of questions for me between my eye test on him (he's phenomenal) and what is happening with the Chargers (meh). Third.... My fave vid of yours from last year was one on a player I like on a team I don't: Trevon Diggs. Best analysis I came across of his crazy season, clarified things for me. I'm not gonna suggest another vid on him for this year, but can you answer a question? Is it me, or have teams just flat out stopped throwing at him this year? Has he improved as much as my eye test tells me? Cause it seems to me he's actually playing way better, but I could be wrong.
    Ah fuck it, Alex will probably not even read this. Any one else? Thoughts?

For charger fans, its so easy to see the difference in offense from last year to this year. Colin cowherd had a take on the chargers earlier in the season that was proven by alex rollins. It was like colin knew theres something wrong with their offense and scheme but doesnt know the game well enough to explain, and alex rollins video explained what he was saying and how he felt.
