I’m actually surprised that James broke in the door and threatened the guy to stay away with a sledgehammer. Considering his survival skills, I’d have expected him to believe he was at the wrong house, apologize for the misunderstanding and give the freak the sledgehammer for protection against burglars
When he describing how insanely dismissive James was, I thought that he would turn out to be the killer!
I am the opposite of James. My daughter told me one day that she saw someone trying to look into her window. I immediately got security cameras, Motion lights, and fixed the broken fence panel. My wife said she thinks she heard someone talking near our window. I Immediately grab a flashlight and a bat and make my way outside. No hesitation. I believe and trust my family when they are afraid. I will never dismiss them. After a few scares, we got a Catahoula Leopard Dog and I trained her how to guard. Best decision ever.
James is definitely the person who would say "let's split up" during a zombie apocalypse.
To be honest, I would have called the police from day one or after the second incident but I couldn't imagine how terrifying it was and am glad everyone is safe
As a man if your wife says she thinks someone is in your house and she’s hearing something don’t let her go check it out herself..your the man of the house you get up regardless of how you feel about the situation and go protect your family
James is the type to NEVER go camping with. He hears bears coming towards us “ no that’s just the wind” terrible survival instant.
It always infuriates me when part of the story is someone being disbelieved by the ones closest to them, or not having their fears taken seriously.
