I tried to get in on DJT before the market opened but my call was not executed. Then when it opened it went up sooo high I couldn’t get in. How can I avoid this happening again???
@@Lilaphire I tried to do it during premarket with a limit order on Webull. Didn't execute or exercise because it didn't hit the limit. Missed out on that, but I'll wait for it to fall back to lower levels then buy in and do options. It'll run again probably on the next debate or right before elections.
@@Lilaphireif you were trading on Robinhood, WeBull, etc, it looked like a rig to me- price froze juuuust above 20% gains overnight, triggering cancelations on retail apps, because the funders these apps use during their overnights wouldn't recognize limit buys over 20% of what a stock closes @ afterhours (8am)

VGT outperformed SCHD and VOO over 5 and 10 years. Despite having most of my $500k retirement in VGT, I try to beat my Roth with my taxable account but still underperform the S&P 500.
I'm taking a hybrid approach with VGT, SCHD, and VOO as my foundation over a 20-year horizon. I still enjoy life, travel, and buy what I love. It's the best combo, plus I enjoy the small victories of dividends, dividend growth, and share price appreciation.
ETFs are great, but don't rely solely on it for retirement. I retired at 62 with a $1.5M portfolio, starting with $35K, thanks to an adv1sor and dividends. Invest wisely, build your nest egg, and don't sell the chicken that lays the egg!

I'm tired of these new buys every week, just to make up some assets with low percentage on my $236k portfolio and try to keep everything around 10%. Do you think these stocks you just mentioned are safe buys to outperform the market this year?
For me. I would avoid the index funds, mutual funds, or specific stocks for the time being. The 5% fixed incomes are the safest bet for now. Save your cash for when the market actually shows sign of recovery. Or hire a good market strategist.
It's unfortunate most people don't have such information. I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $30k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Doesn't matter if the economy is misbehaving; great wealth managers will always make returns.
