Not only that, but some more backstory on some characters too. Like Tyler. He's with you for a long while, but you never really learn anything about him.
I think the lack of Gustave adventures was intentional. The point of the story was Gustave’s legend. The exiled son reclaiming his throne and completely upending that world’s politics. His legend is at the basis of everything that happens during the story. They intentionally left some things blank and as players we are supposed to fill in those gaps based on how the world changes during and after his reign. Imo, as much as I enjoyed playing as Gustave for those optional scenarios I think the story is fine the way it is. Since it’s about his myth and legend more so than his life itself.
Who is the character on the cover photo? He looks so familiar, but I can’t put my finger on the name because it’s been so long since I’ve played the game
Actually, I figured it out. It’s Labelle. She’s an archer and is holding an arrow in her right hand, plus she has the same color and style of clothes as the sprite

Still a really wonderful game regardless. I hold it in high regard. Moreso than other square titles during its time.

そうです。コーディが死んだ場合の奥さんです。個人的にはコーディを死なせたくないけど、ウィルの哀しみやアレクセイへの怒りなどを考えるとコーディが死ぬ選択の方が物語的には正史なんでしょうね😢
10年以上前のキャラだけど今見ても魅力的。。。
