After a day's stay in the Nepalese mountain village of Chanoute, we got back to Kathmandu. We took a Tata Sumo at 5.30pm as the last bus was at 2.30pm. We paid 8000 Nepal rupees to travel a distance of 55 km in a Sumo. The journey was very adventurous, up and down the hilly roads full of stones and mud and taking dangerous sharp turnings. The driver told us that the road would get flooded during the rainy season and then the villagers would be left alone. The other way for travel would be very difficult. Finally we reached Kathmandu by night. Watch the video to know details of our awesome off road trip and more.
നേപ്പാളിലെ മലയോര ഗ്രാമമായ ചനൗട്ടെയിലെ ഒരു ദിവസത്തെ താമസത്തിനു ശേഷം ഞങ്ങൾ തിരികെ കാഠ്മണ്ഡുവിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങി. അവസാന ബസ്സും പോയതിനാൽ ഒരു ടാറ്റാ സുമോയാണ് ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ലഭിച്ചത്. സുമോയിൽ 55 കിലോമീറ്റർ ദൂരം പോകുവാനായി ചെലവായത് 8000 നേപ്പാളി രൂപയാണ്. കല്ലും മണ്ണും നിറഞ്ഞ മലമ്പാതയിലൂടെ കയറിയും ഇറങ്ങിയും കൊടുംവളവുകൾ തിരിഞ്ഞും അതിസാഹസികമായിരുന്നു ആ യാത്ര. മഴക്കാലത്ത് റോഡിൽ വെള്ളം കയറുമെന്നും അപ്പോൾ ആ ഗ്രാമീണർ ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടു പോകുമെന്നും മറ്റു വഴിയുള്ളത് അതികഠിനമാണെന്നും ഡ്രൈവറിൽ നിന്നും അറിയാൻ സാധിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെ മണിക്കൂറുകൾ നീണ്ട യാത്രയ്‌ക്കൊടുവിൽ രാത്രിയോടെ ഞങ്ങൾ കാഠ്മണ്ഡുവിൽ എത്തിച്ചേർന്നു. ഗംഭീരമായ ഈ ഓഫ്‌റോഡ് യാത്രയുടെ വിശേഷങ്ങളാണ് ഈ വീഡിയോയിൽ.
