When I re-acquired a Zartan as an adult I was surprised he still changed color. Those 80s mall memories, I could build a library on those alone. Kay-Bee Toys, Sears, Mervyn's so many toy aisles all within the same building. Really cool hearing your memories, the lower ramp doors, etc.. funny the things our memories are made of. Yes, Zartan was a game changer! The best science fiction type character arah had for sure. Yeah, so many memories of stores, family and joes. I think its good to capture this stuff on record before they fade away!

None of the places I used to go to get Joes are there any more, well, the plaza that the Child World I use to go to is still there, but I think the building is gone, and the other place was a mall called the Galleria. Well, now there's a street there..🥺

Awesome memories of these malls! I love this stuff. Cool to see it. I went into our old mall, Jefferson Valley mall in upper Westchester County, NY, and it was in business but a ghost town; sad to see.
Thank Bob! It was great to go back to the same mall. Yes, Sears was not open anymore of course. That sucks your old mall was not that busy. I don't care what anybody says, online shopping does not hold a candle to what we had in the 80s and early 90s at these malls and toys r us stores!

Great memories! I remember Black Friday and the kb toy store at the Beloit mall back in the 80s where I grew up in Wisconsin!
