The only thing I could imagine to shorten the song is skipping the first chorus. Reducing from a verse-chorus-verse-chorus-verse-chorus to a verse-verse-chorus-verse-chorus structure imo wouldn't affect so much the meaning of the song as the three choruses don't differ that much. And, who knows?, maybe the song could sound even better because would lose in repetitivity.
Very simple stage, maybe huge subtitles on the back like Viv val suggests. They are beautiful, talented and fashion. The song it’s in any case the winner about the streams… did you check Spotify? Over 40M.. in two weeks. What else?❤️🔥🇮🇹
Honestly, I`m having trouble even listening to the other songs because nothing compares to this. I especially loved the live version from San Remo because the staging was so beautiful and there was an orchestra. I saw the stage for Eurovision today and I really don`t understand why they did`nt just pack up everything from San Remo onto a few trucks and move it all to Turin, it was so much more impressive. I`ll be very disappointed if this song doesn`t win , but then I was also shattered that he didn`t win with Soldi. Best of luck to Italy and Mahmood & Blanco they definitely have my vote

The special thing of this song is Mahmood talks about his troubled gay love story and Blanco talks about his trobled straight love story; they recognise they have the same feelings, the same problems of incommunicability, they find sometimes they are stuck between their passions and their fears, they find they are both fragile and they love each other for this. They are like two birds flying together up in the sky, naked with chills, equals in their fragility. It’s a message of pure equality that means you don’t need to have sex to love a person, you just need to feel the same of that person. Just so you know, Mahmood's a stage name for Alessandro Mahmoud, and Blanco is a stage name for Riccardo Fabbriconi. So, if you check out interviews, they are addressed sometimes as Ale(ssandro) and Ricky/Riccardo. And the video was shot in Amsterdam. Personally, I prefer their live performance; I see the appeal of the video, but it seems a bit standard videoclip shooting, full of wide angles and scenery, whereas in the live version you can just focus on the song.

Hey Guys! Hope you've been well. It's always a pleasure to see how genuine and fun you guys are. I'm catching up on some of the songs now as I'm starting to look at them on my channel. My thoughts on this one - I'm worried about how it will go down as a first listening. This is such a beautiful song and is such a grower. It gets better and better each time you listen to it (I just edited my video and like it so much more now than I did when I sat down and watched it for the first time). From a musical standpoint, I was very worried about how the first verse is just so overwhelming melodically and as a result ma struggle to grip those who hear it for the first time when it's performed on the Eurovision stage. I identify myself a lot with the massage Mahmood and Blanco want to portray with this song… that there’s no need to categorize relationships or underlining sexual orientations, but, by portraying relationships in the same way and with exactly the same fears and problems, finally can pass a massage of equality stronger then any declaration. Mahmood is been attacked many time for not declaring anything (without hiding either, just being himself) but i truly appreciate his coherence in this and he’s just an example that there are many ways to be yourself and all those should be respected.

This song is a masterpiece. It shouldn't be "butchered down" to 3 minutes for that silly Eurovision rule. It would be criminal: a crime against art! I hope that Eurovision management will let Mamhood and Blanco perform Brividi from start to finish in its fully glory. Amen
Mahmood grew up with his single mum in the suburbs of Milan, he hardly had a glamorous or privileged upbringing - which is maybe the reason he's showing a gritty side of Italy here. As you probably know from "Soldi", he and his Italian mother were abandoned by his Egyptian dad when he was just 5 years old. He says he owes everything to his mum, who was heroic in bringing him up on her own and always believing in him. Mahmood hasn't had it easy and he deserves ALL the success he's having now. I can't tell you how pleased I am with the fact that he's now starting to become an international star.

Welcome back Joy we love you, so cutting song is huge trouble cause it's masterpiece, as exsactly it is. you can't touch any words or pause without compromise the poem, especially after you've listened and listened to it again however try this, the first two piano chords can be omitted and mahmood sings after only one chord, so we will have gained 8 seconds. They should just go with dark staging with some soft light, similar to Duncan and Barbara, and get the focus on them. The song and the chemistry are what make the performance so good. As for the cut... I have no idea... Mahmood's full part needs to stay, Blanco's full part needs to stay, the intense rap part needs to stay, the acapella chorus at the end needs to stay. Maybe I would cut Mahmood's high note in the bridge because it will be really hard to sing live and maybe the second chorus but I'm not sure how that would work. It gives me anxiety already and it's not even March...
Since you loved this song I'm sure that you'll love so muchalso another song called "Mantieni il bacio" by the artist Michele Bravi. The song is about going through dark times and overcoming it by using our love and the artist is also gay so I'm sure that you'll love the videoclip.

I identify myself a lot with the massage Mahmood and Blanco want to portray with this song… that there’s no need to categorize relationships or underlining sexual orientations, but, by portraying relationships in the same way and with exactly the same fears and problems, finally can pass a massage of equality stronger then any declaration. Mahmood is been attacked many time for not declaring anything (without hiding either, just being himself) but i truly appreciate his coherence in this and he’s just an example that there are many ways to be yourself and all those should be respected.

Mahmood grew up with his single mum in the suburbs of Milan, he hardly had a glamorous or privileged upbringing - which is maybe the reason he's showing a gritty side of Italy here. As you probably know from "Soldi", he and his Italian mother were abandoned by his Egyptian dad when he was just 5 years old. He says he owes everything to his mum, who was heroic in bringing him up on her own and always believing in him. Mahmood hasn't had it easy and he deserves ALL the success he's having now. I can't tell you how pleased I am with the fact that he's now starting to become an international star.

But Italy for the second time wanted to reward him .. In the interview after the victory he said that he still does not know how to present this song to Esc maybe the change in English but Blanco said no no.. They should just go with dark staging with some soft light, similar to Duncan and Barbara, and get the focus on them. The song and the chemistry are what make the performance so good. As for the cut... I have no idea... Mahmood's full part needs to stay, Blanco's full part needs to stay, the intense rap part needs to stay, the acapella chorus at the end needs to stay. Maybe I would cut Mahmood's high note in the bridge because it will be really hard to sing live and maybe the second chorus but I'm not sure how that would work. It gives me anxiety already and it's not even March...
At Sanremo the song was sung live the highest notes too with AN orchestra playing live... no record tracce at all
