Why is The Russian allowed to stop the cue ball while its still rolling after his fouls? I think under those circumstances it should be loss of game. He fouled twice both times he stopped the cue ball from contacting other balls on the table.
While I agree that stopping the cue ball while still rolling isn't the best practice, both times Fedor did that (I believe you're referring to 17:10 and 29:17) it was clear that the cue ball wasn't going to contact other balls on the table, especially for the players of their calibre. The cue ball had almost stopped and I believe wasn't going to contact the eight in the first instance anyway and the second one Fedor stopped the ball from dropping into the pocket which didn't make any difference except for saving them some time taking the cue ball out of the pocket. Again, this type of thing isn't something I'd advocate for but it's neither a punishable offence given it's obvious that the cue ball wasn't going to contact other balls after one commits a foul.
I'm thinking nerves played A factor in many of his mistakes, it's easy much easier to see when we're spectators , lol After watching my self in the past I've been disappointed in myself to why I played certain shots 🤦♂️
