    I have the Fandu Luxe Edition and I'm very happy with it. I've had it for about 4 or 5 years now and it looks the same as it did when I bought it. $800
    The C4 is beautiful, but that's out of my price range.

      C4 is class A for having many things that are not mentioned in the video, Arosha is class B for offering good quality at a good price, and the WWE shop version is class C, it is not bad, it is cheap, but it needs to improve many things (which I doubt they will) to be close to the Arosha and the C4, and remove the damn synthetic leather strap

    I think there are several things that need to be clarified, the first is that the cost of the C4 is very high mainly due to the materials, whether German or sterling silver, the silver is more expensive than zinc metal or CNC, the second thing, certain things like conchos and the wrestlers have been fixed in the C4, since they now have the original molds of these elements, another thing that must be said is that the C4 will never seek to be 100% similar to the BG OG, since yes, they have almost the same techniques, the molds, they have studied the BG in person, they have been trained by many of those who made the BG (even by the family of the main carver) and that is what makes them differents, There will never be 2 identical BGs (in fact there are 2 with the Crumrine seal and they do not look alike) not even if Víctor carved 2 they would never be the same, because they are 99% handmade, it is true that many do not comply with the silhouette, but there are also many others that are close to what the BG is, and that is what makes them special, that none of them will resemble each other, if you like I can send you images of people who have a C4 very close to the original design and shape, but yes, what they sell is that they have the BG closest to the original not because of the final result, but because of the process, equipment, study and workers who were key pieces in the creation of the C4, I would love to talk much more about the Arosha, but unfortunately I have had very limited treatment from the creator, but nothing against him, On the contrary, I wish him the best and I hope that he increasingly improves the aspects that fail in his version so that his work is increasingly recognized, I even think it is better than many classic shields

      The C4 is made out of German silver, which is just stainless steel, there is no silver involved. Only one person made the original big gold and he has been dead for a while. His brother makes the C4 who has admitted he doesn't have the abilities to make it the same as the original and was not involved in the making of the original.

      @@fixxxer919I hate to disappoint you but German silver is not made out of stainless steel, I would educate myself before I spoke.
      German silver is composed of three major elements Copper, Zinc and Nickel and sometimes with a trace of Tin and Lead.

    C4 redesigned their belt earlier this year and while it's still noticeably off, it looks a lot more like the original Crumrine. Many of the flaws you pointed out in this video have been fixed. Still not worth over $4,000 IMO.
    I wish Conrad would just allow the original belt to be cast/scanned and sell exact copies because I want an exact copy of the original (without the bent top).
    Until a 100% accurate replica of the original Crumrine is up for sale (Classic Shields Premium is the closest, but there are still a few inaccuracies that bug me and I don't want to wait two years for it), I'm sticking with my Shoprine. I've replaced the stiff fake leather strap with a real leather strap (though I got a black one instead of Cordovan brown), polished the plates and got two custom nameplates (One Jeweler style and one trophy style. The trophy one is better though since the gray on the jeweler is too dark). I also plan on getting it restoned at some point since one of the stones on the crown is chipped, but that's hardly noticeable except in certain lighting.

    Talking a little more about the photo of the minute15:43
    I have to emphasize that it is not a photo that can 100% compare a Big gold with the C4, since both the OG and the C4 are modified in size so that they could "slice together" since I didn't find any photo in which both match each other, so I took the 2 photos that looked most similar and modified the size taking the upper central wing as a guide point, you can see clearly how the letters and the crown cannot be 100% symmetrical, plus the photo of the C4 was not complete and I had to paste another one of a better view of the side plate, and as a final point, You cannot compare the coincidence between one and because it is a new C4 against a 40-year-old BG, I would have loved to have a close-up photo of the BG OG from 1984 but unfortunately it does not exist, the BG ha sufrido tanto daño que se modificó en un 35-40% su forma curvada original el cuero se arruga y luce más "encogido" entre muchas cosas, es más, se puede comparar el Bg en 1985 y en 2024 y no coincidirán en la forma

      @adrianpolanco5645 I wasn't aware that was your photo. Thank you for clarifying. I still have the photo of the two belts side by side at Starrcast to C4 to the original. You can still see how different the shape of the main plate is between the two belts. The peak on the C4 is too wide and not as steep, the bottom of the C4 is too pointy and the shape as it makes it way towards the side plates isn't correct either. Also the end of your comment started to turn into Spanish. I can't speak Spanish, so I'm not sure what you said in your last few sentences.

      @@Tupacisking306 I ordered those two belts from Arosha after making this video. I didn't own any Arosha belts at the time of filming this. It's unbiased because I used the book "Big Gold" as my reference. I simply used the photos within the book to point out what is inaccurate about either of the two belts. The only opinion I gave was that I wouldn't spend $4000 on the C4 because I didn't think it was worth that much for all the inaccuracies it has. The rest of what I said was purely factual, again going off of the book.

    How accurate in artwork and size would you say the Shoprine is??

    • @Mr.Cynical92
      @Mr.Cynical92  7 месяцев назад

      @dougmeyers I think in terms of artwork and size, it's pretty accurate. Where it lacks is in its weight and materials. You're not going to get real 24K gold plating, you're going to have to buff or clear coat it to get it to shine. Also, WWE isn't using sterling silver, so it'll be a lot lighter than the actual Crumrine. Also you're not going to get real leather with WWE Shop.
      It's a nice replica, but Arosha and Classic Shields get you closer to the real belt.

    • @thecarolinabull01
      @thecarolinabull01 6 месяцев назад +2

      I'd say it's about 75-80% accurate. More accurate than any other Big Gold apart from Classic Shields Premium, which is about 90% accurate.
      I have some gripes with it, but it's all I could afford and it's the most accurate Big Gold you can get for less than four figures. Though I would definitely recommend replacing the fake leather strap with a real leather strap and polishing the plates.

    • @thecarolinabull01
      @thecarolinabull01 2 месяца назад +1

      It's not as best as you can get, as least in terms of accuracy to the original, which is more important to me and many others than if it's handmade or made of real silver (which C4 isn't). To me, a plastic children's toy belt that looks exactly like the real Crumrine is more valuable to me than a handmade silver belt that barely resembles the original.
      Classic Shields is already pretty close and even the WWE Shop looks more like the real Crumrine than C4 or Arosha.
      Maybe there are people out there who would prefer a handmade belt even if it looks different or they .at prefer the new look over the original and that's fine. It's just not fine for me.
      If I was a billionaire, I still wouldn't buy a C4. If I had that kind of money I'd be going to Conrad or someone who has one of the AFX cast copies and get an exact copy made.
