Hello Jan Angelo, love your videos! I do have a few suggestions about sunscreens and skin care in general. I would suggest being more mindful about the ingredient list on sunscreens esp. chemical sunscreens as multiple studies have shown that they are not particularly environmentally friendly and a lot of the ingredients within them (including octocrylene in Belo Sun Cream SPF 40) have scientific evidence that it could potentially harm coral reefs and other marine organisms. Further, a lot of the substances are also known carcinogens or cause skin allergies (not a point of concern though as a lot of things we consume have the potential to be carcinogens but still worth pointing out). In any case, being more mindful of ingredient list for our safety and the safety of the coral reef systems will likely benefit us more in the long run. My advice is to provide your audience with reef-friendly/safer alternatives to chemical sunscreens. This could probably extend to other skin care products as well by providing friendlier/cruelty-free options for concerned individuals. Sharing my two cents :>

I’m someone who hates the feeling of wearing a sunscreen kasi oily and pawisin talaga ko. Hindi nagwork sakin yun Belo kasi ang bigat sa pakiramdam sa mukha pero nung triny ko yung Dermplus Water Drop everyday nako nagsusuot ng sunscreen napaka koportable niya sa mukha di malagkit at mabigat

I've been using the dermaction plus sunscreen watery drop for months now and I can say na super nice talaga siya even for my oily skin. I'm really happy you discovered this Jan ❤️❤️. Natry ko na rin yun yung Altruist sunscreen and unfortunately super heavy niya for me. Grabe yung shine ko so I just use it for my neck, ears and body. Still, it is a great product for its price.

Altruist is a go to despite having oily to combination skin. Bases like sticky/tacky toners or very light water-based moisturizers/gels would help make it blend better. The stickier the skin is, the better, then super tyagaan lang sa pag blend and pag tapat sa electric fan lalo super init ngayon. Super affordable kasi. SPF30 PPD 39 200ml for 550 and SPF50 PPD54 100ml for 450. I had to apply exactly 1/4 tsp face and neck, reapply na lang talaga, just to get away with the consistency.
Content suggestion: pagkakaiba po ng sunscreen and sunblock mist vs cream/ tinted. Ano po mas maganda/effective. And syempre yung budget friendly pa rin. Thank you in advance ☺
I've been enjoying the Belo Face SPF 40 super lightweight at hindi sya sticky for my oily skin. Also, I've been rotating it with my other sunscreens like beet the sun and belo tinted sunscreen.

I just love the littllextra riceberry sunscreen! I have sensitive combination skin and this works perfectly for me. I wear it every day and can wear makeup on top, but it's often unnecessary because this sunscreen makes my skin look amazing and moisturized. Inoorder lang kasi ng sellers from europe yung Altruist and since nagfufluctuate yung value ng peso and since konti lang sila (around two lang ata) na nagtitinda, they often adjust the price and take advantage of the market na rin. When they started selling these around 350 lang siya but they started increasing the price nung naging mabenta.
Belo Sunscreen and Dermaction Plus are very good sunscreen. They really do the job. But now, I'm using the Vaseline Sun Cream. It's lightweight but not easily removed by sweat. You may also try it! 😊👍👍

Next content suggestion: body sunscreens that contains newer filters. I used the Kojic SPF 69 which has Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate a.k.a. Uvinol A Plus and Biore Body Serum which has bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine a.k.a Tinosorb S I hope you can suggest more that's available in the Philippine market. I’ve been using the Belo sunscreen. As a traveler who is always exposed to the sun for years, it works for me. Maganda gamitin kasi fast absorbing, it doesn’t leave white cast and most of all, hindi sya greasy. Ayaw ko ng sunscreen na oily or greasy sa kamay since my hawak ako lagi na camera and gadgets. I’ll try your other recommendations. Thanks for this video!

Tried using the Belo and Watson's Sunscreen in this list and I had breakouts. I have oily acne prone skin, but it might go well with other skin types. I'll surely try the Verdio and Altruist Sunscreen as these were suggested by Dr. Dray as well. :)
Try the Canmake UV Mermaid Gel 😊 I have combo, acne-prone skin too but I didn’t break out when I use it, it’s alcohol and fragrance-free and it’s a combination of physical and chemical sunscreen. Jan Angelo also recommended it on his other video about sunscreen ☺️ Sadly, Verdio is too shiny for me.

been using the belo sunscreen for moisturizing sunscreen but i still oil up a lot and have breakouts after (more on oily to combi skin type ako and i sweat a lot too). super thankful for this another set of recommendations jan! i suggest moisturizers for oily skin types next kasi its really hard to find those too 🥺

PERSONAL REVIEW NG MENTURM UV PERFECT SUN GEL 4 OILY SKIN PPL: (since ito yung reason kung bat ko yun binili haha) it finishes a little shiny, and it may look greasy to some especially if you have bumpy acne skin (like me) & oily ka pa. Biore’s uv watery gel is quite like this, but this Menturm one is a bit milder (esp sa smell kasi ang lakas ng alcohol scent ng sa biore) & mas milky ipahid lol. you might not like this if you have acne bc this is, again, a little greasy & doesn’t dry down matte at all. it’ll give you a glowing effect tho if you have clear skin, and as someone wo doesn’t have that rn i would still say this is a decent sunscreen because i genuinely just like putting it on☀️ sulit din to bc most sunscreens only have 50-60ml which just doesn’t do justice for the amount of times you have to reapply
+++: the shine kinda increases each application lol I might sell mine because of that 😅 Pero I’m really really impressed kasi di siya lagkit even tho shiny siya, like if you touch it, it doesn’t feel icky at all. It also really is waterproof but I’m not all that sure, bc I worked out with it & I think I could still feel that it’s there kaso the shine of the sunscreen is mixed w my sweaty face so idk exactly how much of it is left after sweating intensely ahaha

@@rsndrcrz both i have tried but i’m pertaining to the water drop. the bigger one is nice too! but they have obvious difference in consistency and smell but both are great sun screen!

@@kayrle928 i myself have oily skin and yes it works for me. the consistency is moisturizing hence it easily absorbs onto your skin.
I'm planning to buy dermaction, the 150 ml one. So gusto ko lang sya gamitin sa face and neck ko. Tatagal ba yung kahit atleast 3 months since 150 ml naman?

Inoorder lang kasi ng sellers from europe yung Altruist and since nagfufluctuate yung value ng peso and since konti lang sila (around two lang ata) na nagtitinda, they often adjust the price and take advantage of the market na rin. When they started selling these around 350 lang siya but they started increasing the price nung naging mabenta.
Belo Sunscreen and Dermaction Plus are very good sunscreen. They really do the job. But now, I'm using the Vaseline Sun Cream. It's lightweight but not easily removed by sweat. You may also try it! 😊👍👍

I’ve been using the Belo sunscreen. As a traveler who is always exposed to the sun for years, it works for me. Maganda gamitin kasi fast absorbing, it doesn’t leave white cast and most of all, hindi sya greasy. Ayaw ko ng sunscreen na oily or greasy sa kamay since my hawak ako lagi na camera and gadgets. I’ll try your other recommendations. Thanks for this video!

Yaaas. Very sakto talaga sa 4.4 but now currently using the face republic purity sun essence. Nanlalaban talaga yung mga ingredients as iiiin!😍 Tapos may instant parang glass looking skin ka pa after u applied it

Tried using the Belo and Watson's Sunscreen in this list and I had breakouts. I have oily acne prone skin, but it might go well with other skin types. I'll surely try the Verdio and Altruist Sunscreen as these were suggested by Dr. Dray as well. :)
Try the Canmake UV Mermaid Gel 😊 I have combo, acne-prone skin too but I didn’t break out when I use it, it’s alcohol and fragrance-free and it’s a combination of physical and chemical sunscreen. Jan Angelo also recommended it on his other video about sunscreen ☺️ Sadly, Verdio is too shiny for me.

PERSONAL REVIEW NG MENTURM UV PERFECT SUN GEL 4 OILY SKIN PPL: (since ito yung reason kung bat ko yun binili haha)
it finishes a little shiny, and it may look greasy to some especially if you have bumpy acne skin (like me) & oily ka pa. Biore’s uv watery gel is quite like this, but this Menturm one is a bit milder (esp sa smell kasi ang lakas ng alcohol scent ng sa biore) & mas milky ipahid lol. you might not like this if you have acne bc this is, again, a little greasy & doesn’t dry down matte at all. it’ll give you a glowing effect tho if you have clear skin, and as someone wo doesn’t have that rn i would still say this is a decent sunscreen because i genuinely just like putting it on☀️ sulit din to bc most sunscreens only have 50-60ml which just doesn’t do justice for the amount of times you have to reapply
+++: the shine kinda increases each application lol I might sell mine because of that 😅 Pero I’m really really impressed kasi di siya lagkit even tho shiny siya, like if you touch it, it doesn’t feel icky at all. It also really is waterproof but I’m not all that sure, bc I worked out with it & I think I could still feel that it’s there kaso the shine of the sunscreen is mixed w my sweaty face so idk exactly how much of it is left after sweating intensely ahaha
