Not One But Two Alfred Bruder Waldkirch Fairground Organs in the UK

  • The Hollycombe Steam In The Country working steam museum held a special event weekend on the 21st-22nd September 2024. This event was the Festival Of Mechanical Music which brought together these two superb German fairground organs. The instrument on the left is a 46 keyless organ owned and presented by Paul & Alison Kirrage. The 52 keyless to the right is owned and presented by Brian Hunt.

    I see you happened to capture me mid recording session! Hopefully my equipment wasn't in your way. This was the first time I'd heard this lovely little organ play so I was quite eager to get some good footage of it.

    I can remember the 1st time Bruder when it was owned Collin Bullock

      Yes, I have an earlier cassette recording of it when it was painted in more of a fairground style. Any idea when it was repainted? Grateful for your comment.
