almost 3 years ago, at almost 22 years old i almost took my own life. I was abused as a kid, broken, depressed, anorexic, bulimic, suicidal. I went in & out of psych units like it was a game of tic-tac-toe. Suicide watch. I was on enough Antidepressants to kill a horse. I hated myself. I wanted out. I wanted the pain to stop. The gaslighting* to end. *(when a psycho makes a sane person question their own sanity, and thus think they themselves are the insane one).
I wanted power. I got into witchcraft. I thought it would give me the identity i wanted, to be set apart from people who hurt me. It only made me sicker. Sicker. Thats what it did to me.
The doctor said id never get well. That i would suffer severe Chronic Manic depression, and never be well, that id be stuck on antidepressants all of my life.
I would plot suicide on a daily basis, binging and purging my food as often as opening and closing a door. The pain was too real. People choked me. Assaulted me. Told me i was ugly, i felt worthless. Nothing ever got better. Then my mother died. The (1) & only soul who ever loved /emotionally supported me was removed from the earth. I was stuck living with people who broke me, ruined my identity, thus causing me to hate God. I thought God hated me, that he was just like the ones who tortured me, a family of abusers, who cover up all their actions with the mask of religion. I didnt know that God is on my side. I didnt know that Jesus would Love and Defend me, and fight for me and that He later would heal me, rescue me from Family. The ones who caused me pain. The ones who choked me for wearing a necklace.
I moved out after family threatened to throw all my belongings on the front yard, and have me permanently institutionalized in an insane asylum, when they were the ones who caused my mental illness via abuse.
They blamed me for the abuse they did to me.
To take my life in an insane asylum when they were the ones who made me suicidal.
Next morning i spoke with my dead moms parents who let me live with them.
I stayed on the antidepressants, prescribed. But they only made me sicker. I got deeper and deeper into witchcraft, thinking it was a solution. But it made me even more suicidal. Self hatred was inescapable.
I decided i was going to kill myself. I was going to take all my pills.
But then Jesus stepped in. I didnt die. I surrendered my life to Jesus to make me well and heal me.
The deity i blamed for me being abused wanted to heal me. He Was fighting for me and Loved me all along.
He wanted to love me. He wanted to give me His Heart.
😭 HE LOVES ME. JESUS. LOVES. ME .
Jesus miraculously healed me - i am off all drugs and dont need them and i dont have any mental illnesses. I work a job and am totally healed , full of joy.
I’m now a born again Christian, who wants the entire world to know that ❤️JESUS WANTS TO HEAL YOU

@@6969smurfy you are not perfect nor without sin, but yes as a lover of Christ you are to STRIVE to live a sinless life. Not continue sinning using Jesus as an excuse. If you stumble and sin, repent, get back up, and continue to walk in God’s righteous light.
The first day I claimed myself as a Christian, I went to the pool to have a good time but then A little girl dropped her water bottle in the pool and couldn't get it because she couldn't swim. But when I saw the little girl sad and her bottle floating farther away from her, I knew that it was a sign from god for me to live like a Christian and be nice, so I grabbed the water bottle and gave it back to the little girl. I know it isn't much but I am still proud of it and I know that God is proud of me for doing it too.

HE HE : I came out of the dentist's office one day in a lot of pain, after experiencing a lot of pain for weeks, and knowing I was in for more pain... and as I was walking home, I thought about how blissful heaven must be, where there is no pain, no decay, no death, no anxiety... But abruptly, I thought, "What makes me think I deserve that? I don't," because despite receiving Christ, I've continued to stumble and sin. Even knowing that it is through grace we are saved, I felt doubtful and depressed. When I got home, I picked up the i-pad and watched a random video. In the comments, someone had posted a long segment of Bible verses about how we are saved by the grace of Christ and not through our own acts. I hadn't looked for it, but it was exactly what I needed to see right then. And I SOBBED. 😭🥰

I spend my days caring for my mother with dementia...I put my life on hold to care for someone that doesn't appreciate it, that only cares about herself in her own world but i do it because its a commandment. I know good works won't get you into heaven..and neither does breaking a commandment. All I can do is ask for forgiveness daily. But there is no happiness in my life. Doing what God tells you to do isn't always easy. So I don't relate to this message from Joe. I love Joe...but

My, my, my....this video is exactly what I needed to hear. I continue to beat myself up whenever I sin. It is as if, I diminish the redemptive work of Jesus on Calvary. My devotional life must improve so that I can resist the plots of the evil one. God is good and forgiving, but I must take a repentant stance as I live this temporal life.

I am taking a large step back and only focusing on the bible and my own relationship with Christ before I will speak again. I read Romans 14 last night and well a big light bulb has gone off. 😊 my journey is still young.
Thank you so much Joe for helping me clear out the fog in my brain. I just turned 50 years old on March 3rd. Now when I was 3 I accidentally drank bleach and almost died after 5 surgery interventions I survived. And to this day I am a very sick man.
I have struggled with addiction to pain killers all my life but I still cling to the hope that the Lord Yeshua will forgive me and not send me away. I suffer all the time but your videos give me strength.

prayers work a lot, i mean, i am a result of prayer, i have witnessed my brother a result of prayer nothing else, all the fevers and sicknesses in my life didnt go with medicines they went with prayer. my dads life was saved as a baby as a result of prayer. my dad found my mom in a dream and a result of prayer, everything is prayer results in my life!

It's not quite that simple. That was a requirement for members of the "Christian Congregation" in the 1st Century. They were all destined for Heaven as part of the 144,000 anointed followers of Jesus. These were the only ones being gathered by Jesus and the Apostles, they were declared righteous by their faith in Jesus and his sacrificial death and resurrection.
They were baptized and "anointed" with Holy Spirit as a "token of their inheritance" which is Heaven. That number of 144,000 is filled and they are sealed with the Spirit, no other humans will go to Heaven.

We obey His commandments because we love Him and because we are abiding in Him. Being a Christian is different of saying we are Christians (1 John 2:3-6). Salvation is through Christ alone.

Do you really? Which day do you keep holy, Sabbath, Saturday of Sunday?
Good one brother Joe and I agree with the keeping the Ten Commandments as best as we can.
Did you know, that a huge portion of the New Testament is dedicated to keeping the Sabbath? The first reference to the Sabbath was the angel proclamation that Christ would bring "peace on earth." Peace is rest and rest is Sabbath. The second reference is when Christ openly declared for everyone to come to Him and He would give you "rest". Rest is Sabbath. Then all the rest following the gospels, where the church is admonished IN CHRIST to love each other and live in peace, are all pointing to the continuous Sabbath rest that Christians observe EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Thus, for a Christian, keeping the Sabbath is far more than just one day a week, it is a lifestyle of faithfulness to Christ and our fellow.
We pray for all those who have given this a thumbs down. May they all encounter the love, mercy and grace of God in their lifetime. May they receive a personal visit from Jesus Christ.

If you love me, then keep my commandments. I love that. The 10 commandments is a guideline to not slip, because the devil loves it when we slip.
The commands of Jesus to the New Testament church are not the same as the commandments given to the children of Israel on Mount Sinai ie the mosaic covenant.

The Sabbath has its roots in the garden. “God blessed it and sanctified it” - but he does not command it until later as a part of the relationship and covenant that he has with the children of Israel through the Mosaic Law.
I believe this institution is important to God because it is an earthly representation of the relationship that the church will have with Jesus; he is our sabbath; he is our rest from the works of the law.
The verses in Exodus that command the Sabbath are to the Israelites and not to the whole world. God did not deliver the gentiles from Egypt. He did not bring them to Mount Sinai. He did not establish a covenant with the gentiles.
It does include foreigners living in their cities. This is to prevent the Israelites from getting their work done on an extra day through foreigners and slaves - but more importantly that these foreigners and slaves should also rest. To reiterate: this is not a command for the whole world. It is included with the mosaic covenant with the children of Israel.
There exists only two commandments for the bride of Christ. But first, let’s make a distinction between the church and the children of Israel.
The Abrahamic covenant is different from the covenant made with the children of Israel. Abraham’s covenant is a promise of a son - specifically Isaac, and that all the people’s of the world would be blessed through Abraham - ie The Messianic promise.
The Old Testament Covenant and law is separate and different from the Abrahamic Covenant which is fulfilled in Christ and is available to Jew and gentile alike.
The prophet Jeremiah records that the covenants will change:
Jeremiah 31: 31-33

“The days are coming,” declares the Lord,
“when I will make a new covenant
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
32
It will not be like the covenant
I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they broke my covenant,
though I was a husband to[a] them,[b]”
declares the Lord.
33
“This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel
after that time,” declares the Lord.
“I will put my law in their minds
and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God, and they will be my people.”
Verse 31 is clear that a new covenant is coming and that it replaces the old covenant
Verse 32 contrasts it with the Old Covenant. “it will not be like...” the one made with the children of Israel via Moses.
Verse 33 explains the difference. This new law will be in their hearts and minds; it is not a to-do list of laws which carry the penalty of death. Circumcision of the penis was a sign of the old covenant. The new covenant requires being born again by the Holy Spirit. This is referred to as a circumcision of the heart. Romans 2:29
Gentile believers were never under mosaic law and because of the new covenant we are taught for certain that we are not under the law (Romans 6:4) - which always brings death. We are under grace.
When contrasted with the commands of Jesus recorded in the New Covenant we can clearly see why that is so; we are taught that his commandment is not burdensome.
John 13: 34
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another”
This is the clearest understanding of the New Covenant that replaces the Old Covenant. It is a covenant that is to be in our hearts, because He dwells in our hearts.
2 John V5-6
5 And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another. 6 And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.
To love Jesus is to obey him. To obey him is to love each other.
I John 3: 23
23 And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.
We are His church and we are not under the Mosaic law - but under grace. This is clear in Jeremiah’s prophecy because he uses the phrase “Not like the covenant I made...”
It is vastly different. It is for this very reason that we have two separate portions of the Bible: the Old Testament which documents the history, Abrahamic promise, the mosaic covenant, the mosaic laws, and the prophets. In contrast to the New Testament which documents the fulfillment of messianic prophecies, the teachings of Jesus, history of the early church, our clear and only commandment of Love, and further prophecies regarding end times.
Because we are the church we have no right to teach, force, or require any believer to obey Mosaic law. This includes circumcision, which Paul clearly opposed as part of the New Covenant, and it includes the sabbath.
We are to encourage New Covenant law - that of love - which is superior in all ways to the Mosaic law.
I firmly believe in the importance of the sabbath in the OT - but only because It demonstrates God’s attitude towards us and our rest that we have in Christ. I am convinced that the sabbath has been replaced; it has not replaced by Sunday, or any other day of the week - but by Christ himself.
Many have made “keeping the sabbath” a condition of salvation by believing that if someone does not keep the sabbath then they are part of the Whore of Babylon and will suffer punishment. That is a form of legalism. Additionally, sabbath keeping is a subtle form of pride: “I keep the sabbath, God is pleased with me [but not with you.]”
God is pleased with us only because Christ is in us and for no other reason. We were created for good works which is evidence of our genuine faith - and those works are expressed through love for one another, our neighbors, and our enemies.
The true believer does not go to church. He (or she) is the church. They pray without ceasing. They sing to each other in Psalms, Hymns, and spiritual songs. They love their brothers and sisters, their neighbors, and their enemies. They make amends for their sins, they seek Christ in all things, and rest in him continuously.
So then, does this mean that we are exempt from keeping the 10 commandments? YES, but only because we keep them from the heart:
1) Love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, Love our neighbor as we love ourselves.
2) Do not falsely imagine God to be anything but who he actually is.
3) We bear the name of Christ (a wife takes her husband’s name) do not live like you are married to the world.
4) Christ is our rest; do not try to justify ourselves by keeping the law.
5) We must honor all lawful authority.
6) We must love our enemies and give them food and clothes.
7) We must not lust after another, which is adultery.
8) We must work to supply our owns needs and those of others.
9) We must speak the truth in love, because Christ is the truth.
10) We must be content with what we have because he has said, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you.” We are coheirs with Christ.
The true church keeps the sabbath every day because we are in church every day..
The Saturday sabbath is not for the bride of Christ.
Christ is the Lord of the sabbath. He is the Lord of our rest.

God had enough pages in his book, but he didn't keep that record because Jesus loved you and died for you.

The idea that we cannot keep God's commandments is usually held by people who are unwilling to keep the Sabbath Day holy by resting on the 7th day, or the day we erroneously call Saturday. (Friday sunset to Saturday sunset)

@@suzannewassink3914 Yes. Confession of sin (1 John 1:9) reestablishes our fellowship with God that sin breaks. The sooner I confess the sin and ask forgiveness, the sooner I feel better because I am back in right standing with Him.
The part most leave out is we need to ask Christ to fill us with his Holy Spirit and change the spirit we were born with. Most say you have to repent and that has to be first but if after we’ve repented we don’t ask the Lord to change us we’ll get off our knees forgiven but there won’t be any change unless we ask him to change our life. Called being “born again.” Behold I stand at the door ( your heart) and knock. Whoever opens the door and ask me in I will come in (Holy Spirit)and sup with him and he with me.

I desperately need prayers against debilitating panic attacks and depression. I'm born again. It's gotten worse. Only Jesus can heal me!!! I awaken with such fear , I become physically I'll and convinced I'm dying. Sleep paralysis etc. I take medication. Have for 22yrs so cutting off cold Turkey is very dangerous! Oh I miss family and my Brethren! I want to GLORIFY God! Power in prayer so I thank you in advance.

"Keeping His Commands" goes much deeper than doing what He said 2000 years ago. It means HEARING what the Holy Spirit says to YOU on May 23, 2021, and DOING it. When He says, "Make that phone call", "Write that letter", or when you're upset and going to say something mean, He says, "Don't say that". Walking with Him in a Daily, Personal Relationship, and doing what He says, is Keeping His Commands, in the most important way there is. If we're just "Doing the Do's" and "not doing the Don't's", legalistically, all we have is "Religion".

That's true about u never know who's listening or watching. I was talking to my friends about how God has shown me that my purpose is to serve others and to live for others. This guy was listening and he had just lost a friend to suicide he said my words rly helped him to get out of bed! U never know who's listening so always bring glory to God and speak good things!
I struggle a LOT with cuss words. I use cuss words when I’m mad or pissed, (I used to not curse at all) and I sin with laziness, I also have unholy thoughts when I get mad like I wish the person who made me mad died which is really bad sometimes I even think I hate them.
Sometimes I do the same things. I think it’s strongholds are familiar spirits. Maybe you have been hurt a lot as I have. Pastor Robert Clancy is doing another fast. I have cut people out of my life who kept hurting me. Jesus never went to the Pharisees or the Sanhedrin when He rose from the grave. He went to those that love Him.
The flesh will not go away until you die. Read Galatians 5. Your spirit is born again. You’re a child of God. But the flesh wages war against the spirit. Walk in the spirit and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. This is the warfare. The world, the flesh and the devil. Fight continually against you.

I just watched this this morning, the bus story hit home for me. Just started a new job and finding my way (thankyou Jesus) and without even realising this my conversations weren't bringing any Glory to my Lord and Saviour. I will ask the Holy Spirit for his incredible guidance to be a beacon for others and lead them to Christ. Not fall back to the "old me" personality. I can't claim to be a child of God and be cool with the World. My last workplace co workers knew I was a Christian as I proclaimed it from the roof tops. Thankyou for your message, and thankyou Jesus for leading me here and the gentle reminder, Hallelujah 🙌🙏💕

Yes its so important to obey & keep all the 10commandments of God, but what amazes me is when a person knows all the ten commandments in exodus 20, but still keeps sunday as the day of worship( 1st day of the week) saturday is the 7th day of the week. Which God emphasized it so much that, " remember " the sabbath day to keep it holy. They agree to keep the others but when it comes to the 4th one they say the sabbath was for the jews. Yet forgeting that whoever decides to believe & follow Jesus is abraham's seed and a spiritual jew🤗🤗
