I need all the prayers i can get. My son after 7yrs has agreed to go to rehab. He told me the devil is on him and wont get off. I found him an open bed. He is asleep right now. Please pray that he still agrees to go when he wakes up
I am praying for you I have felt this in my family with my father. You are far from alone and your son isn't alone either. Every day we learn more about addiction, every next day progress is made in how it is treated. We understand so much more than we did even 2 years ago. I will pray for him as well. Tell him there is someone who lost his father who also has dealt with addiction, who cares about him immensely because there is so much worth underneath the fog of drugs. Take care of yourself and hold on to hope.
I barely escaped the same demons after 20 years of torment. Don't forget that one of his names is The father of all lies. I lied to my mother several times, without any shame or hesitation, when I needed shelter. Just to be gone 3 days later, with her money in my pocket. And 4 weeks later I returned in her open arms...just to do it again. Every time I thought NOW is the time to be strong and get rid of the demons, I was honest about that from the bottom of my heart. 3 days later the LIAR convinced me, with the greatest of ease, to leave my mother again and I embraced him. After 10 years I moved to another country because I knew my mother's life would be easier without me. I gave up, I surrendered, knowing the demons are too strong. My life was hell on earth. It took another 10 years until I was able to break the chains. So, am I ok now? I put it like this - I don't even know if my parents are still alive. The burden of guilt is too heavy to reach out to them. Yes, I pray for your son and for you. I wonder if both of you are doing good. Your son was honest when he said he can't take it anymore, but The father of all lies has his name for a reason. Have no doubt that your son isn't bad - but the demon perfected his craft for thousands of years. Stay strong!

I asked a kid that was a neighbor to my sister...who was about 17 years old and who had been sitting at the edge of his fathers driveway as his dad and his dads girlfriend were arguing , when his dad jumped into his small pick-up truck and put it in reverse and hit the gas when he realized he had ran over something so he puts the truck in drive and runs over it again. When he gets out of the truck he looks under it and sees it was his son that he ran over, not once but, twice. He had broken several bones and tore the skin off his face, etc. The persmedics came and took him to the emergency room. His chances for survival were not good. The son the next day got up and walked out of the hospital without telling anyone. I saw him right after this and could not believe he was even walking. His face had a couple scratches, but, nothing compared to the damage of being run over would have created. I asked him what happened the minute he knew he had been ran over. He said that he was scooped up by Jesus and he held him in his arms before being ran over again and that he had the most loving eyes and face and when he was in the hospital he placed him back into his body but, he felt no pain or injuries and so he just got up and walked out. I knew from what this kid said that Jesus is real. I had never seen anything like this .
Jesus is real. 3 yrs ago, I saw Jesus. He told me something comforting as I was going thru something painful in my life. I haven't seen him since. Sometimes Jesus doesn't come, but he sends good people our ways.
I asked my fifth grade science teacher how does he think god and science is true. and he said god is the why and science is the how. now 25 years old it was the best thing a teacher has taught me
Not really true. The laws of physics may hold true up till this day but the Lord Almighty was not plotting geometric patterns and shapes to give HIM understanding on how to create all that is. The soul is not subject to man made explanations of how and why this dying 3 dimensional reality operates. Love is the right nature and holiness is what sustains it all through grace and mercy

I denied God almost my whole life. I'm 41 years old and I have to say that in the past 1.5 years God has been doing some amazing things with me. Especially, the past 3 weeks. God is real and I know it. I've asked for a sign everyday for these past 3 weeks and every single day, he has shown me he exist. I pray that everyone in the World gets to experience a miracle at least once in their lives. I want everyone to feel and SEE what I've been seeing. I want the World to be saved! 🙌

I was born into a Christian family then raised a Protestant. I went to Church, I read the Bible, I went to Sunday school. I have looked upon the image of Christ on the cross throughout my entire life and I am 71 yrs old. I considered myself Christian. Today I finally understood because today I finally wept for Christ. I am convinced my exposure to his image on the cross from early childhood nullified my feelings toward him while I paid lip service to my Christian beliefs. I have finally, after 71 yrs, come to understand that I did not understand at all. Christ was before me like it was not 2000 yrs ago. Christianity is not dead it is arising and I thank the Lord.

I’m atheist. The past roughly 10 years I’ve listened to people such as Jordan Peterson debate and talk. So intelligent. Every highly intelligent person says “they’ll need more proof there isn’t a god.” Kay Williams gives some solid examples. Kind of hard to stay atheist to be honest. Also, the energy of those who are religious is different than those not. It’s positive. Thinking about starting to go to church and just sit.

I have been an atheist for yeas but lately I feel differently. It is the energy of positivity from certain religious people that pulls me forward. I don't know where my thoughts will bring me but this feels better that just being negative.

I don't think you understand the word condition. God doesn't love everyone..he hates evil and the lovers of evil. He told us to forgive our enemies and pray for them but he never said we have to love HIS enemies. Why would he require us to love someone that he hates? That's not righteous.

I de believe God loves each and every single one of us, but dislikes the evil we do. We can all obtain eternal life upon accepting Christ and repenting for our sins.
I've been drinking and snorting for over 30 years just trying to get sick or just die I've been active in church singing praying fasting nothing worked but one day I tried to get high but couldn't so all the while he was waiting for me to surrender thank you jesus

What a wonderful testimony! My husband was addicted to alcohol for 13 years before he brought it to the foot of the Cross of Christ. It has now been 26 years since that awesome day. He has never, ever, even one time been tempted to return to it. It’s definitely a spiritual problem. Do you notice how alcohol is called spirits? There’s a reason. And since a certain devastating occurrence happened a few years back, more people are addicted to alcohol and other substances than ever. Even the price has been artificially lowered so many more people can be brought down. This is for real!

A life that never ends and eternal fellowship. If you read the Bible with an open heart, you’ll understand that He wants to have a personal relationship with all of His people. Praise God for you being saved and then saved by Our Lord Jesus. He's blessed in life and blessed me to be alive so so many times. There were incidents that transpired where I should have been dead and I wasn't even touched, not even a scratch. Truthfully then I only believed I was lucky, but in early 2011 I was in a moped versus vehicle accident where I broke my neck, was paralyzed and went into a coma for three ½ weeks and woke up not knowing how bad I was hurt or even how blessed I was to be alive until later on. I tell everyone God saved me because the devil was trying to take me and now that I look back I can't help but be in amazement wondering how it is that I am alive, We are both (along with a great deal of any other's) living and walking testimonies to His love and grace. I remember Paul Harvey as a young kid coming into my home over the radio. Thank you so much Joe for sharing this as it brings back a time in my life when reading the bible was so important. Both my parents encouraged us to follow the bible readings thru there testimony. My parents are gone but not the teaching they inspired through bible verses and sharing about our most Holy God.
Yes! I listened to Paul Harvey with my grandmother, too. She kept me while my parents worked. Such wonderful memories! Then when I was a home health nurse, this segment of Paul Harvey was played as I was traveling to see my patient. I had tears in my eyes. It was the most profound broadcast from him! 🙏✝️🇺🇸

Wow I was born March 31st 1965. I live in poplar Montana on the fort Peck Indian reservation. When I was in high school in my freshman year which is 1980. In our speech class we had to listen to Paul Harvey every morning. And then write down what we remembered. We were number one in the country for murder at that time for a period of 10 years I think. We were more dangerous than the Streets of Detroit Michigan. Because the people here are traditional Indians and they worship the Sun and so it's cursed

In my opinion this was to write them off and have people think it's all fiction. The timing suggests this. How can anyone study the human body and not believe in a creator? Watching those who seek truth with their whole heart in their journey to finding it, is such a blessing.
Studying the animals throughout the history, it almost makes perfect sense. Every part of us that has no use but was used once, traces of it are still here, even if we have no use for it. Life somehow got to earth, somehow life was created, which could be a god. The universe as we know it also had to come into existance. But god didnt create all the complexity of life, life itself did, through billions of years of conditions forced on it by the structure of our planet and our solar system, by surviving the harshest of extinctions. Now here is an interesting thought that I often entertain. Maybe, god, as a one perfect being had to die in that form, god becoming everything after he "died" insted of one conscious being, in order for us to exist, in order for us to have free will. Maybe he saw the beauty in chaos, and the dullness of perfection. For what is better, a world of robots who do things in a predetermined way that causes everything to go perfectly, or a world where its inhabitants make mistakes, do things they see fit, live their lives the way they want, believe in what they want to believe. I sure believe free will is worth more than pure order.

God doesn’t exist like we do, God is the purest form of existence, in the sense that it’s divine. It doesn’t adhere to the same laws we adhere to because it creates and maintains laws. The same reason as to why we can’t concretely prove that God exists, is the reason as to why God doesn’t need a creator. You see, atheists and theists argue the same points, their conclusions are just polar opposites. When an atheist says that God doesn’t exist, they are correct, because God doesn’t exist in the same way we would say we exist, or the universe exists. Just as when a theist says God exists, he’s right because God exists in the purest form of existence, one which a human can only infer, but never truly understand from a limited human perspective and scope.
I remember hearing this on the radio. In 60s. I was working outside in the backyard. Beautiful warm sunny day. I listened, to every word. In deep thought. It's eerie to hear this now. That He's so right. All those years ago.

I was raised on a small ranch with no phone or TV. My mom used to have a small radio on the kitchen counter that was always on an a.m. channel that played Paul Harvey everyday. As a kid I always loved his voice, and my favorite line was "and now you know the rest of the story"🎉🎉Amazing how spot on he was and how relevant it is today. How amazing to be able to watch God work in someone's life. To be able to see the salvation of one soul. I am grateful to be able to see God's mercy and patience with what I one thought was impossible.

I need all the prayers i can get. My son after 7yrs has agreed to go to rehab. He told me the devil is on him and wont get off. I found him an open bed. He is asleep right now. Please pray that he still agrees to go when he wakes up
I am praying for you I have felt this in my family with my father. You are far from alone and your son isn't alone either. Every day we learn more about addiction, every next day progress is made in how it is treated. We understand so much more than we did even 2 years ago. I will pray for him as well. Tell him there is someone who lost his father who also has dealt with addiction, who cares about him immensely because there is so much worth underneath the fog of drugs. Take care of yourself and hold on to hope.
I barely escaped the same demons after 20 years of torment. Don't forget that one of his names is The father of all lies. I lied to my mother several times, without any shame or hesitation, when I needed shelter. Just to be gone 3 days later, with her money in my pocket. And 4 weeks later I returned in her open arms...just to do it again. Every time I thought NOW is the time to be strong and get rid of the demons, I was honest about that from the bottom of my heart. 3 days later the LIAR convinced me, with the greatest of ease, to leave my mother again and I embraced him. After 10 years I moved to another country because I knew my mother's life would be easier without me. I gave up, I surrendered, knowing the demons are too strong. My life was hell on earth. It took another 10 years until I was able to break the chains. So, am I ok now? I put it like this - I don't even know if my parents are still alive. The burden of guilt is too heavy to reach out to them.
Yes, I pray for your son and for you. I wonder if both of you are doing good. Your son was honest when he said he can't take it anymore, but The father of all lies has his name for a reason. Have no doubt that your son isn't bad - but the demon perfected his craft for thousands of years. Stay strong!

Thank you all for the prayers. He did go and hasnt signed out yet. My nerves have had it. I havent got to talk to him on phone. I called because was worried. They said give him few days hes going thru psychosis
I asked a kid that was a neighbor to my sister...who was about 17 years old and who had been sitting at the edge of his fathers driveway as his dad and his dads girlfriend were arguing , when his dad jumped into his small pick-up truck and put it in reverse and hit the gas when he realized he had ran over something so he puts the truck in drive and runs over it again. When he gets out of the truck he looks under it and sees it was his son that he ran over, not once but, twice. He had broken several bones and tore the skin off his face, etc. The persmedics came and took him to the emergency room. His chances for survival were not good. The son the next day got up and walked out of the hospital without telling anyone. I saw him right after this and could not believe he was even walking. His face had a couple scratches, but, nothing compared to the damage of being run over would have created.
I asked him what happened the minute he knew he had been ran over. He said that he was scooped up by Jesus and he held him in his arms before being ran over again and that he had the most loving eyes and face and when he was in the hospital he placed him back into his body but, he felt no pain or injuries and so he just got up and walked out. I knew from what this kid said that Jesus is real. I had never seen anything like this .

I denied God almost my whole life. I'm 41 years old and I have to say that in the past 1.5 years God has been doing some amazing things with me. Especially, the past 3 weeks. God is real and I know it. I've asked for a sign everyday for these past 3 weeks and every single day, he has shown me he exist. I pray that everyone in the World gets to experience a miracle at least once in their lives. I want everyone to feel and SEE what I've been seeing. I want the World to be saved! 🙌

I was born into a Christian family then raised a Protestant. I went to Church, I read the Bible, I went to Sunday school. I have looked upon the image of Christ on the cross throughout my entire life and I am 71 yrs old. I considered myself Christian. Today I finally understood because today I finally wept for Christ. I am convinced my exposure to his image on the cross from early childhood nullified my feelings toward him while I paid lip service to my Christian beliefs. I have finally, after 71 yrs, come to understand that I did not understand at all. Christ was before me like it was not 2000 yrs ago. Christianity is not dead it is arising and I thank the Lord.

I’m atheist. The past roughly 10 years I’ve listened to people such as Jordan Peterson debate and talk. So intelligent. Every highly intelligent person says “they’ll need more proof there isn’t a god.” Kay Williams gives some solid examples. Kind of hard to stay atheist to be honest. Also, the energy of those who are religious is different than those not. It’s positive. Thinking about starting to go to church and just sit.

Praise God for you being saved and then saved by Our Lord Jesus. He's blessed in life and blessed me to be alive so so many times. There were incidents that transpired where I should have been dead and I wasn't even touched, not even a scratch. Truthfully then I only believed I was lucky, but in early 2011 I was in a moped versus vehicle accident where I broke my neck, was paralyzed and went into a coma for three ½ weeks and woke up not knowing how bad I was hurt or even how blessed I was to be alive until later on. I tell everyone God saved me because the devil was trying to take me and now that I look back I can't help but be in amazement wondering how it is that I am alive, We are both (along with a great deal of any other's) living and walking testimonies to His love and grace. I remember Paul Harvey as a young kid coming into my home over the radio. Thank you so much Joe for sharing this as it brings back a time in my life when reading the bible was so important. Both my parents encouraged us to follow the bible readings thru there testimony. My parents are gone but not the teaching they inspired through bible verses and sharing about our most Holy God.
Yes! I listened to Paul Harvey with my grandmother, too. She kept me while my parents worked. Such wonderful memories! Then when I was a home health nurse, this segment of Paul Harvey was played as I was traveling to see my patient. I had tears in my eyes. It was the most profound broadcast from him! 🙏✝️🇺🇸

How can anyone study the human body and not believe in a creator? Watching those who seek truth with their whole heart in their journey to finding it, is such a blessing.

Who created the creator?
Studying the animals throughout the history, it almost makes perfect sense. Every part of us that has no use but was used once, traces of it are still here, even if we have no use for it. Life somehow got to earth, somehow life was created, which could be a god. The universe as we know it also had to come into existance. But god didnt create all the complexity of life, life itself did, through billions of years of conditions forced on it by the structure of our planet and our solar system, by surviving the harshest of extinctions.
Now here is an interesting thought that I often entertain.
Maybe, god, as a one perfect being had to die in that form, god becoming everything after he "died" insted of one conscious being, in order for us to exist, in order for us to have free will. Maybe he saw the beauty in chaos, and the dullness of perfection. For what is better, a world of robots who do things in a predetermined way that causes everything to go perfectly, or a world where its inhabitants make mistakes, do things they see fit, live their lives the way they want, believe in what they want to believe. I sure believe free will is worth more than pure order.

God doesn’t exist like we do, God is the purest form of existence, in the sense that it’s divine. It doesn’t adhere to the same laws we adhere to because it creates and maintains laws. The same reason as to why we can’t concretely prove that God exists, is the reason as to why God doesn’t need a creator. You see, atheists and theists argue the same points, their conclusions are just polar opposites. When an atheist says that God doesn’t exist, they are correct, because God doesn’t exist in the same way we would say we exist, or the universe exists. Just as when a theist says God exists, he’s right because God exists in the purest form of existence, one which a human can only infer, but never truly understand from a limited human perspective and scope.

As a kid I always loved his voice, and my favorite line was "and now you know the rest of the story"🎉🎉Amazing how spot on he was and how relevant it is today.
