Great video. Thought I would add, Bashar always says: #1. Act on your excitement, your passion, whatever is most exciting to you, in the moment. Do this every moment that you can. #2. Do this to the best of your ability. Take it as far as you can go until you cannot take it any further. #3. Act on your excitement/passion with absolutely no insistence, assumption or expectation of what the outcome should be. #4. Choose to remain in a positive state regardless of what happens. #5. Constantly investigate your belief systems. Release & replace the un-preferred beliefs: fear-based beliefs, and the beliefs not in alignment with who you prefer to be.

Why does this channel not have 1M subscribers yet! As an engineer… I always struggled to fully believe in manifestation. I approached it through the lens of faith in God. Because I could not reconcile the science with manifestation. Hearing someone else realistically present what’s proven, and where a bit of faith is still needed… was AMAZING. This is a personal breakthrough for me….. side note…. We’d have such an amazing time geeking out. I have gone down the rabbit hole of unifying classic & quantum as well. And I always find myself using philosophy to translate the concepts. Keep up the fantastic job! This channel has an Uber bright future.

I would have enjoyed science so much more if we had teachers applying spiritual concepts to their lessons! Neuroplasticity is key in how we channel proactive emotions to a specific thought, through imagination, visualization, meditation… while we prune neural connections that would otherwise stimulate negative, reactive emotions. And vice versa, channel our thoughts to stimulate desired emotions.
For someone like me who struggles to believe how our thoughts shape our reality, correlating science with manifestation really helped. Thank you so much for taking out your time and creating this video. ❤

This *is* pseudoscience of the most pernicious kind: that which sounds like expert advice. A PhD student in chemistry is a far cry from a PhD student in physics, and even then, a PhD student in physics is a far, far cry from a tenured professor in physics. This is not a person that literally understands the theory of quantum mechanics. She has a imagined impression of it that I am sure is backed up by many authors that like to write on this kind of nonsense, but not by the actual math of physics. Physics can make no commentary on spirituality: all it does is predict to an approximation the outcome of a measurement in an experiment. It is completely incapable of providing any other information. Certainly it makes no comment on what "thoughts are", they are way, way beyond the level of complexity we understand in modern quantum mechanics. We hardly understand the helium atom for goodness sakes. A single helium atom. Already not solvable from the theory, that one requires computer approximations. It's the second simplest atom after hydrogen. Much less "human thoughts"... Spirituality is great, it's just completely unrelated to quantum mechanics. QM has no commentary on how one should live their life, and it never will. -a mathematician who literally knows the mathematical theory of quantum mechanics

The foundation of scientific knowledge is to not disprove anything that hasn’t been studied. I liked it, you went crazily deep. :) I think it's a perfectly valid interpretation. The book "think and grow rich" also goes in depth into the power of manifestation of thoughts, albeit without the (quantum) physical implication, but it goes to show just how powerful thoughts can become. Whether it's the thoughts "manifesting" or just the individual taking appropriate action or both, we know of people whose sheer obsessive desire to achieve a certain outcome, ultimately helped them to do so. Just as firmly believing in yourself and your abilities and having an unshakable self-confidence "manifests" into a charisma that alters surrounding people's perception of yourself. Now from a scientific perspective we can only guess what the exact mechanics on a subatomic level are, but on a metaphysical, it's a good metaphor.

This was one of the best talks I've heard regarding this topic. Being a man of science and having known and practiced the LOA for almost 10 years now, I've always felt skeptical about the lack of concrete evidence and the scientific data to back it up. The demand for faith and blind belief is well and good but after years of being in the medical field you learn to question and bank on empirical data. And though I fully believed in the law and saw it's tremendous potential, I always felt some discontent regarding the occult, semi spiritual and new agey science woo woo bits, especially since the word "quantum" gets thrown around a lot, by people, who I don't think necessarily understand what it means. So thank you for restoring my faith with this extremely well researched and well presented video, explaining it at a level where the non PhD people can also understand. Thank you once again.

I'm a deeply cynical and troubled person. My undergraduate studies were mainly focused on nihilism and transgression, which manifested severe negative thoughts and actions that lead me down a spiral (exacerbated by other factors). After discovering the philosophies of Ray Brassier and UG Krishnamurti, I realized that the answers to the improvement of my reality don't lie in studying the forbidden and dismal, but in the scientific. After watching your video with my high school level understanding of quantum mechanics I realize how simple the answers are. You do a great job clarifying ideas that were mystified to me by high school teachers and rendered practical for my search for some peace. Thank you.

I love seeing a true pioneer of thought putting this idea into reality! The existence of the connection between the physical and our consciousness is real and you did such a wonderful job explaining it. I had this same thought/idea that never manifested into the articulation of a language, so the connection I feel is just indescribable. Although I do have a few different interpretations of how to approach connecting our thoughts & conscious force with the physical mechanism at work, it's a new area of thought that few have truly explored as much as you have! I hate it when people use the term “limits of science”, science is never limited it’s people’s understanding and comprehension of it that’s limited. When people say this, this is a form of narcissism deflecting from our own capabilities and limitations.

Hey Devi, as a physics student I must say you’ve got a lot of stuff right. But there is an equal amount of wrong or mixed up facts. For example entanglement is the opposite of a pure state (which would be the function space, spanned of by the basis wave functions represented by the lines between the “jumps” occur. Even a superposition (there is for example a 50% chance for the particle to be in state one, 25% in state two and 25% in state three) would be a pure state because it can be represented as a linear combination of the basis states). Entanglement occurs if we have two different things correlating, for example the energies of TWO different particles. This is just one example, but there are plenty of such rather small mistakes, but they add up and lead you to a really false conclusion. For a massless particle (e.g. photon) a place in spacetime is well defined, mass has nothing to do with the nature of wave-particle-duality, it’s the way we measure: If we measure the position, momentum would be uncertain, i.e. we have a wave in so called momentum-space (space in this context only means mathematical space, for example momentum is a vector in a vector-space). If we measure momentum, the position in space is uncertain, i.e. the particle appears as wave in the sense you used the term (so a wave in position-space). And of course we can measure waves (just look up like every explanation of the double slit experiment; or just look up in the sky: Do you see something? Yes of course, there is light. Thus by your eyes you measured a wave). Therefore our thoughts do NOT go beyond space and time, that’s a very wrong conclusion derived from an already wrong statement (and the chain only starts here). Be careful! Manifestation is not science, at least in the sense of physics and especially quantum mechanics! One may argue with psychology and the placebo effect, but I am not an expert in this topic… If you want to hear more I’m very open to discuss further. I think there is a solid ground for such discussions (as I mentioned in the beginning, you also got a lot of stuff right!) Greetings Dreistein II

Well done- this is one of the simplest east to understand video of the quantum.physics and manifestation in real life . The quantum shift and shift in energy through our emotions is well explained. We have the control.of our emotions and in other words we have the power to.manipulate our emotions and the out comes. I would like to add one mental hacks there . When you try to visualise and imagine what you want in your physical life - try to be great full of it . Try to be great full of having the feeling as if you already had it( not just being great full of what you already have at the moment. Thoughts will come in different forms and some may be negative as you explained. If you get a negative thought or an emotion , just try to observe and let it ease out . Observe the negative emotion as a vehicle of energy and observe it moves away and positie emotions as a vehicle full.of positive emotions and direct it to where you want it. This stuff is amazing and it really works. I am talking from my personnel experience and if you clearly correctly and calmly channel your thoughts( emotions) you can get what ever you want as possibilities are end less . Well done
You explained your interpretation of whats going on in this crazy existence brilliantly, it was totally understandable. As I've got older, I've realised that science will probably never explain it all, maybe it's supposed to be that way, and I've found peace with that. So now I have a sort of faith, in what I don't know, but it's OK that I don't know as long as it works for me. I explored finding logic in spiritual concepts, physics and math in my 20s & I remember coming across journal copies of Einstein mentioning about C in E=MC[sq] denotes CONSCIOUSNESS. And proposed it to be a constant for light(fastest thing known to humankind then) to have the theory approved. Your video is the closest I have come across to justify this in decades.

I really appreciate the breakdown of thoughts and their relationship to waves, energy, and how we’re able to give them energy. However, one component that I don’t believe was addressed was the confirmation of that thought being created/accepted/manifested as reality in our living experience. We can give the thought energy, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that it will become reality. There have been several things I’ve attempted to manifest with strong conviction that haven’t been manifested, and several things that I haven’t given conscious energy that have manifested easily. (And they’re large accomplishments) Also, in my personal experience I haven’t seen any correlation between giving negative thoughts energy and having them manifest. I’m aware of fearful/invasive negative thoughts that have repetitively come up - yet a very small fraction of them actually manifest. This illustrates that the energy given to the negative thoughts is expelled, but the reality isn’t created. Perhaps the energy of the desire for the reality to ‘not’ be created thwarts the energy of entertaining the thought itself.
I must say, you are absolutely brilliant! You put all of those pieces/ideas/terminology into such a very understandable lesson for us. You will do very well as a university professor teaching these complicated subjects!! Thank you so very much.
Great presentation. I’m assuming you’ve heard about or have read books by Neville Goddard. If not take a look at them. When you basically finished with the scientific part and began talking about the “spiritual” aspects it was wonderful to see how the two are not at odds with each other but perfectly complement each other. And they do because they’re each a part of the whole. Oneness.
All the esoteric cliches about Quantum Mechanics all rolled into one ..in particular the Measurement Problem is misrepresented and 'quantum jumping' is not a QM concept. Quantum Tunneling is.

Since you’re skeptical I’m gonna just copy and paste this book of a comment I just wrote: If you’re reading this comment you must have manifested it. Part of you must want to know the truth. When energy is applied to an electron and it moves from one orbit to another it does not appear in one and then just “jump” to the other. It exists as a superposition of BOTH states until a measurement is made. This means that the electron has some probability of being in either state, and the probabilities change over time according to a wave equation. The wave equation describes how the electron’s quantum wave evolves and interferes with itself, creating a complex pattern of peaks and valleys. The peaks represent the regions where the electron is most likely to be found, and the valleys represent the regions where it is least likely to be found. When a measurement is performed on the electron, such as detecting its position or energy, the quantum wave collapses into one of the possible outcomes, and the electron’s state becomes definite. However, before and after the measurement, the electron’s state is uncertain and indeterminate. It is not correct to say that the electron has a hidden or unknown position or velocity during the transition, because these properties are not well-defined for a quantum system in superposition. Therefore, it would be more accurate to say that the electron exists as a superposition in both orbits until it is measured, rather than saying that we don’t know where it is between the two orbits. The claim that thoughts have no mass is extremely dubious. We cannot measure thoughts directly so I don’t know how we can say with certainty that they don’t have mass or aren’t bound by spacetime. First off, light also has no mass but IS bound by spacetime. Second off, thought as we can best understand it, is electrochemical. It’s something that happens as a result of electricity and neurotransmitters being emitted from neuron to neuron through hundreds of thousands of synaptic connections. These neurons and neurotransmitters are absolutely made of mass. If the brain is destroyed, thoughts cease. I would consider that bound by spacetime. She is absolutely correct that science has its limitations but we cannot then make unfounded conclusions about reality from the gaps of science. I have absolutely no problem with her spiritual claims or her advice to think more positive thoughts but these things are not related to science. Saying thoughts are like electrons and emotions are like light energy are simply analogies. These things are not related at all. As an aside, not related to science, one issue I have with manifestation is that it implicitly states that if something good happens to you it’s because you brought it about via your thoughts and emotions. That means if something bad happens to you it’s because of your thoughts and emotions. This way of thinking completely omits structural systems that cause phenomena in people’s life. People in an impoverished nation are not there because they manifested that. There are complex problems that give rise to structural issues. We are interdependent beings that rely on one another for all things. We are barely individuals. The law of attraction puts us at the center of our own universe and says we as individuals are responsible for it all. This is not accurate or helpful in my opinion. It’s better to be compassionate and thoughtful about problems and to recognize that a lot problems that people face are structural ones that society are responsible for more than the individual. Damn, if you’re still reading this you must’ve manifested this comment like crazy. It’s your fault I wrote this!!!
I am just hearing about quantum jumping. When you were talking about protons mass etc. I could not understand much. Later part of the video I am relating to what's happening in my life. Starting a new business at 65. I used to dream about it not knowing whether it will manifest. I used to dream about customers buying my product my studio etc. Now It is starting to manifest. I am getting clients. I am going a space to do my business. It is unbelievable for a person who was not good at even talking to people. I am attracting customers. A fascinating presentation. I suppose the best way to describe how I feel right now is the old "a dog has four legs, a table has four legs, hence a dog is a table" analogy. But it's definitely food for thought and very well presented. I think the bit that caught me off guard the most was what happens to an electron that moves from one energy level to another. It doesn't move between the states, it's one or the other. It's energy doesn't rise or fall, it just exists a specific levels. I get the interference pattern analogy but the waves are still in the area, they just cancel each other out when they interact to give troughs of dark areas between the bands. But interference patterns fade in and out brighter and darker, there are no sharp cut off points like the electron energy levels. This really blew my mind.
so you have a hypothesis and like a really passionate student of science you ignore your own confirmation bias as you refrain from coming to a conclusion without an experiment and tangible proof. oh wait...
Isnt the idea that you need TANGIBLE proof dogmatic and biased on its own? Those are assumptions based on locality and space/time being fundamental to reality. The dogmatic assumption that something doesnt exist if we cant measure it with current methods of measuring is beyond reprehensible given that quantum physics has SO CLEARLY shown us that there are things we do not yet know how to measure. Space time/locality as a fundamental force of reality is debunked and any conclusive findings on this are biased speculation at best also.

Loved this Devi-one of my fav vids on the correlation between science and manifestation I've seen. I'm no PhD student 😉 but from self-study, I was able to follow along and grasp the concepts you presented, scientific formulas and all. It's true, not everything can be measured, yet it doesn't mean things don't exist as energy, waves, frequency, and information in the quantum field. I think a good way to look at is: your thought don’t create reality but your beliefs do. beliefs are thoughts and concepts you’ve identified with that determine your levels of influence you have to your shift your reality. and the more you’ve experienced trauma and/or been conditioned to not take risk in your life, the more you act and think out of those beliefs which directly impact how you access to change your reality. I will say, negative events can absolutely happen regardless if you assume it or not; we live in a predatory world. As a victim of childhood SA and other abuse, I think it’s important that manifestation coaches take on a trauma informed approach cause it could be really invalidating to someone who is trying to manifest a better life, but has been through a series of experiences of life attacking them before having the agency to protect or defend themselves. but other than that, thank you for your work. it’s a great synopsis

I'm only 2 minutes in the video and I just wanted to say that as a logical sceptic there was a period where I didn't believe in anything spiritual, however after years of metaphysics---specifically ontological conversations---I now believe that I don't know anything and that the extent of our knowledge are really only theories. I see such a complex design at play into everything that I even consider the idea of a creator, it boggles my mind to think that we think we know what we know. Philosophy was quite a humbling experience! Now I'm curious to try and understand some physics as I always struggled with mathematics. 🔥👁
Great content! The only thing with manifestation is you dont know how long its gonna take before it unfolds in your 3D reality. It can take a short time or a really long time and since we dont have a lot of time here you dont want it to take so long before your desires come true. I Just wanted to say thank you for this presentation. Really makes me wish I studied physics more in school. The reason this was so helpful is because I did not understand from an intellectual standpoint what it means to be the creator of my reality. I had heard the infinite thoughts and the quantum levels but I did not understand the jump. But we have to the mass to make the jump an use our energy to change our thoughts that manifest our reality. Which is simple. Love discussions that link science and spirituality, however fear of starvation does not cause starvation, nor positive thinking cause food availability. I believe in manifestation but it must exist within physical boundaries. Perhaps manifestation creates a certain type of psychological reality that over time affect physical reality. #2. Do this to the best of your ability. Take it as far as you can go until you cannot take it any further.
#3. Act on your excitement/passion with absolutely no insistence, assumption or expectation of what the outcome should be.
#4. Choose to remain in a positive state regardless of what happens.
#5. Constantly investigate your belief systems. Release & replace the un-preferred beliefs: fear-based beliefs, and the beliefs not in alignment with who you prefer to be.

I would have enjoyed science so much more if we had teachers applying spiritual concepts to their lessons! Neuroplasticity is key in how we channel proactive emotions to a specific thought, through imagination, visualization, meditation… while we prune neural connections that would otherwise stimulate negative, reactive emotions. And vice versa, channel our thoughts to stimulate desired emotions.
For someone like me who struggles to believe how our thoughts shape our reality, correlating science with manifestation really helped. Thank you so much for taking out your time and creating this video. ❤

This *is* pseudoscience of the most pernicious kind: that which sounds like expert advice. A PhD student in chemistry is a far cry from a PhD student in physics, and even then, a PhD student in physics is a far, far cry from a tenured professor in physics.
This is not a person that literally understands the theory of quantum mechanics. She has a imagined impression of it that I am sure is backed up by many authors that like to write on this kind of nonsense, but not by the actual math of physics. Physics can make no commentary on spirituality: all it does is predict to an approximation the outcome of a measurement in an experiment. It is completely incapable of providing any other information. Certainly it makes no comment on what "thoughts are", they are way, way beyond the level of complexity we understand in modern quantum mechanics. We hardly understand the helium atom for goodness sakes. A single helium atom. Already not solvable from the theory, that one requires computer approximations. It's the second simplest atom after hydrogen. Much less "human thoughts"...
Spirituality is great, it's just completely unrelated to quantum mechanics. QM has no commentary on how one should live their life, and it never will.

I liked it, you went crazily deep. :) I think it's a perfectly valid interpretation. The book "think and grow rich" also goes in depth into the power of manifestation of thoughts, albeit without the (quantum) physical implication, but it goes to show just how powerful thoughts can become. Whether it's the thoughts "manifesting" or just the individual taking appropriate action or both, we know of people whose sheer obsessive desire to achieve a certain outcome, ultimately helped them to do so. Just as firmly believing in yourself and your abilities and having an unshakable self-confidence "manifests" into a charisma that alters surrounding people's perception of yourself. Now from a scientific perspective we can only guess what the exact mechanics on a subatomic level are, but on a metaphysical, it's a good metaphor.

This was one of the best talks I've heard regarding this topic. Being a man of science and having known and practiced the LOA for almost 10 years now, I've always felt skeptical about the lack of concrete evidence and the scientific data to back it up. The demand for faith and blind belief is well and good but after years of being in the medical field you learn to question and bank on empirical data. And though I fully believed in the law and saw it's tremendous potential, I always felt some discontent regarding the occult, semi spiritual and new agey science woo woo bits, especially since the word "quantum" gets thrown around a lot, by people, who I don't think necessarily understand what it means. So thank you for restoring my faith with this extremely well researched and well presented video, explaining it at a level where the non PhD people can also understand. Thank you once again.

I'm a deeply cynical and troubled person. My undergraduate studies were mainly focused on nihilism and transgression, which manifested severe negative thoughts and actions that lead me down a spiral (exacerbated by other factors). After discovering the philosophies of Ray Brassier and UG Krishnamurti, I realized that the answers to the improvement of my reality don't lie in studying the forbidden and dismal, but in the scientific. as a physics student I must say you’ve got a lot of stuff right. But there is an equal amount of wrong or mixed up facts. For example entanglement is the opposite of a pure state (which would be the function space, spanned of by the basis wave functions represented by the lines between the “jumps” occur. Even a superposition (there is for example a 50% chance for the particle to be in state one, 25% in state two and 25% in state three) would be a pure state because it can be represented as a linear combination of the basis states). Entanglement occurs if we have two different things correlating, for example the energies of TWO different particles. This is just one example, but there are plenty of such rather small mistakes, but they add up and lead you to a really false conclusion. For a massless particle (e.g. photon) a place in spacetime is well defined, mass has nothing to do with the nature of wave-particle-duality, it’s the way we measure: If we measure the position, momentum would be uncertain, i.e. we have a wave in so called momentum-space (space in this context only means mathematical space, for example momentum is a vector in a vector-space). If we measure momentum, the position in space is uncertain, i.e. the particle appears as wave in the sense you used the term (so a wave in position-space). And of course we can measure waves (just look up like every explanation of the double slit experiment; or just look up in the sky: Do you see something? Yes of course, there is light. Thus by your eyes you measured a wave). Therefore our thoughts do NOT go beyond space and time, that’s a very wrong conclusion derived from an already wrong statement (and the chain only starts here). Be careful! Manifestation is not science, at least in the sense of physics and especially quantum mechanics! One may argue with psychology and the placebo effect, but I am not an expert in this topic… If you want to hear more I’m very open to discuss further. I think there is a solid ground for such discussions (as I mentioned in the beginning, you also got a lot of stuff right!)

We have the control.of our emotions and in other words we have the power to.manipulate our emotions and the out comes.
I would like to add one mental hacks there .
When you try to visualise and imagine what you want in your physical life - try to be great full of it . Try to be great full of having the feeling as if you already had it( not just being great full of what you already have at the moment.
Thoughts will come in different forms and some may be negative as you explained. If you get a negative thought or an emotion , just try to observe and let it ease out . Observe the negative emotion as a vehicle of energy and observe it moves away and positie emotions as a vehicle full.of positive emotions and direct it to where you want it.
This stuff is amazing and it really works. I am talking from my personnel experience and if you clearly correctly and calmly channel your thoughts( emotions) you can get what ever you want as possibilities are end less .

I explored finding logic in spiritual concepts, physics and math in my 20s & I remember coming across journal copies of Einstein mentioning about C in E=MC[sq] denotes CONSCIOUSNESS. And proposed it to be a constant for light(fastest thing known to humankind then) to have the theory approved. Your video is the closest I have come across to justify this in decades.

I really appreciate the breakdown of thoughts and their relationship to waves, energy, and how we’re able to give them energy.
However, one component that I don’t believe was addressed was the confirmation of that thought being created/accepted/manifested as reality in our living experience.
We can give the thought energy, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that it will become reality. There have been several things I’ve attempted to manifest with strong conviction that haven’t been manifested, and several things that I haven’t given conscious energy that have manifested easily. (And they’re large accomplishments)
Also, in my personal experience I haven’t seen any correlation between giving negative thoughts energy and having them manifest. I’m aware of fearful/invasive negative thoughts that have repetitively come up - yet a very small fraction of them actually manifest.
This illustrates that the energy given to the negative thoughts is expelled, but the reality isn’t created. Perhaps the energy of the desire for the reality to ‘not’ be created thwarts the energy of entertaining the thought itself.
I must say, you are absolutely brilliant! You put all of those pieces/ideas/terminology into such a very understandable lesson for us. You will do very well as a university professor teaching these complicated subjects!! Thank you so very much.

Great presentation. I’m assuming you’ve heard about or have read books by Neville Goddard. If not take a look at them. When you basically finished with the scientific part and began talking about the “spiritual” aspects it was wonderful to see how the two are not at odds with each other but perfectly complement each other. If you’re reading this comment you must have manifested it. Part of you must want to know the truth. When energy is applied to an electron and it moves from one orbit to another it does not appear in one and then just “jump” to the other. It exists as a superposition of BOTH states until a measurement is made. This means that the electron has some probability of being in either state, and the probabilities change over time according to a wave equation. The wave equation describes how the electron’s quantum wave evolves and interferes with itself, creating a complex pattern of peaks and valleys. The peaks represent the regions where the electron is most likely to be found, and the valleys represent the regions where it is least likely to be found.
When a measurement is performed on the electron, such as detecting its position or energy, the quantum wave collapses into one of the possible outcomes, and the electron’s state becomes definite. However, before and after the measurement, the electron’s state is uncertain and indeterminate. It is not correct to say that the electron has a hidden or unknown position or velocity during the transition, because these properties are not well-defined for a quantum system in superposition.
Therefore, it would be more accurate to say that the electron exists as a superposition in both orbits until it is measured, rather than saying that we don’t know where it is between the two orbits.
The claim that thoughts have no mass is extremely dubious. We cannot measure thoughts directly so I don’t know how we can say with certainty that they don’t have mass or aren’t bound by spacetime. First off, light also has no mass but IS bound by spacetime. Second off, thought as we can best understand it, is electrochemical. It’s something that happens as a result of electricity and neurotransmitters being emitted from neuron to neuron through hundreds of thousands of synaptic connections. These neurons and neurotransmitters are absolutely made of mass. If the brain is destroyed, thoughts cease. I would consider that bound by spacetime.
She is absolutely correct that science has its limitations but we cannot then make unfounded conclusions about reality from the gaps of science. I have absolutely no problem with her spiritual claims or her advice to think more positive thoughts but these things are not related to science. Saying thoughts are like electrons and emotions are like light energy are simply analogies. These things are not related at all.
As an aside, not related to science, one issue I have with manifestation is that it implicitly states that if something good happens to you it’s because you brought it about via your thoughts and emotions. That means if something bad happens to you it’s because of your thoughts and emotions. This way of thinking completely omits structural systems that cause phenomena in people’s life. People in an impoverished nation are not there because they manifested that. There are complex problems that give rise to structural issues.
We are interdependent beings that rely on one another for all things. We are barely individuals. The law of attraction puts us at the center of our own universe and says we as individuals are responsible for it all. This is not accurate or helpful in my opinion. It’s better to be compassionate and thoughtful about problems and to recognize that a lot problems that people face are structural ones that society are responsible for more than the individual.

patterns in data, don't automatically imply any interpretation a priori. scientific realism is not at all a 'scientific' idea, nor is the idea that empirical patterns we study on medium scales, eg. organisms, abiotic structures... are 'composed of' the entites of our most fundamental physical theories. it simply doesn't follow from doing physics alone.
claims about 'thoughts' 'being' waves' are not language that the relevant experts (cognitive/computational neuroscientists, psychologists, cognitive scientists...) use.

A fascinating presentation. I suppose the best way to describe how I feel right now is the old "a dog has four legs, a table has four legs, hence a dog is a table" analogy. But it's definitely food for thought and very well presented.
I think the bit that caught me off guard the most was what happens to an electron that moves from one energy level to another. It doesn't move between the states, it's one or the other. It's energy doesn't rise or fall, it just exists a specific levels.
I get the interference pattern analogy but the waves are still in the area, they just cancel each other out when they interact to give troughs of dark areas between the bands. But interference patterns fade in and out brighter and darker, there are no sharp cut off points like the electron energy levels. This really blew my mind.
so you have a hypothesis and like a really passionate student of science you ignore your own confirmation bias as you refrain from coming to a conclusion without an experiment and tangible proof. oh wait...
Isnt the idea that you need TANGIBLE proof dogmatic and biased on its own? Those are assumptions based on locality and space/time being fundamental to reality. The dogmatic assumption that something doesnt exist if we cant measure it with current methods of measuring is beyond reprehensible given that quantum physics has SO CLEARLY shown us that there are things we do not yet know how to measure. Space time/locality as a fundamental force of reality is debunked and any conclusive findings on this are biased speculation at best also.

Loved this Devi-one of my fav vids on the correlation between science and manifestation I've seen. I'm no PhD student 😉 but from self-study, I was able to follow along and grasp the concepts you presented, scientific formulas and all. I think a good way to look at is: your thought don’t create reality but your beliefs do. beliefs are thoughts and concepts you’ve identified with that determine your levels of influence you have to your shift your reality. and the more you’ve experienced trauma and/or been conditioned to not take risk in your life, the more you act and think out of those beliefs which directly impact how you access to change your reality. I will say, negative events can absolutely happen regardless if you assume it or not; we live in a predatory world. As a victim of childhood SA and other abuse, I think it’s important that manifestation coaches take on a trauma informed approach cause it could be really invalidating to someone who is trying to manifest a better life, but has been through a series of experiences of life attacking them before having the agency to protect or defend themselves. but other than that, thank you for your work. it’s a great synopsis

I'm only 2 minutes in the video and I just wanted to say that as a logical sceptic there was a period where I didn't believe in anything spiritual, however after years of metaphysics---specifically ontological conversations---I now believe that I don't know anything and that the extent of our knowledge are really only theories. I see such a complex design at play into everything that I even consider the idea of a creator, it boggles my mind to think that we think we know what we know. Philosophy was quite a humbling experience! Now I'm curious to try and understand some physics as I always struggled with mathematics. 🔥👁

I Just wanted to say thank you for this presentation. Really makes me wish I studied physics more in school. The reason this was so helpful is because I did not understand from an intellectual standpoint what it means to be the creator of my reality. I had heard the infinite thoughts and the quantum levels but I did not understand the jump. But we have to the mass to make the jump an use our energy to change our thoughts that manifest our reality. Which is simple. But as someone who came from a religious background I needed the science to help me to understand what I am. I could say more but I will end by saying thank you. This video came at a great time.

I believe in manifestation but it must exist within physical boundaries. Perhaps manifestation creates a certain type of psychological reality that over time affect physical reality.
