- Thank you for all your kind words about the typhoon and our safety. I'm grateful to have true supporters like you all and I'm excited to get back to creating! This video was filmed right before the storm. I touch on adulthood, marriage, living on an island, and how I've been these past six months. Lots more coming soon.

This discussion really made me think. In America we really get so consumed with vanity that we forget less is more. So interesting when we experience other cultures. Thank you for this food for thought!
Jesus is good! I’m glad you’re safe! ❤ Jesus loves you all!
“ where I want to spend my time “ was a WORD. Congrats on your new chapter it’s lovely watching you evolve and pieces I can implement on my journey.
I know I’m a little late to commenting but I just wanted to start by saying I can definitely relate. I am 23 going on 24. From my teenage years and early adult life I did the makeup ,big lashes, and wigs. And at that time I genuinely did find it enjoyable but God knew those things would not last always. Jesus taught me about the inward adorning as a woman. Where my heart was and what I stand for. And believe it or not but with that I started really embracing the natural things that God gave me and find them beautiful. I no longer where lashes one day I woke up and felt very hideous in them ( keen in mind I wore them for two years straight almost everyday) at first I almost didn’t recognize myself w/o them because I had wore them for so long that it made a difference to me if I didn’t put them on. Now day when I do wear makeup is a cream blush, and setting powder and mascara. I no longer fill in my eyebrows because I felt it change my face too much. I like to keep it simple and that came with wisdom. I am happy more ladies my age are having this realization. Thank you for sharing your outlook. I’ve been a subscriber for several years now. I also now sew and crochet. I know it’s not fore everyone but please everyone take the time to find an enjoyable hobby that pertains to life and not death (vanity)❤
I moved to an island last year and jumped into my natural girl era as well. Now I use Kiss Falscara lashes (no more extensions) and I became a nail tech because I wanted to be happy with my nails every time lol
Girl I'm 22, in college, in Atlanta, and single but we are in the same boat! Less IS more!
Yaas. I love living simply. Ive been intentional about every aspect of my life since September of last year and it has definitely lifted my spirit.
Excited for this new chapter!
Less is more soft, and feminine is all that's needed. It's ok you're evolving and have different priorities in life right now, so enjoy the ride sweetheart. You just listed off a slew of passions that's great content. ❤

I kinda feel you about the whole “everyone needs to leave” thing. I love my hometown and I never left. Those posts were honestly soooooooo negative and projecting too much. I think its good to experience travels but people dont need to up and leave their hometown bc their hometown is “trash” its just not true. The grass will always seem greener on the other side. Some of my friends who move talked to me about how tough it was and missing home. So yea experiencing travels is positive but pushing 18 yr olds to leave and talking down and those who chose not to is wild and so wrong
It just has a lot to do with people projecting their own trauma. The same happens in Caribbean culture. We don’t leave our parents homes until we are financially ready, about to get married, or both. And our parents are very happy to have us home and encourage us. But Americans look down on that and feel as though a child fresh out of high school should be living on their own 😳. And in this case it’s generational bc ive heard of parents kicking their kids out at 18 or doing things to get the child to want to leave. Then they pass that trauma to the nexr generation and try to tell other people they’re wrong for living at home
I feel like this is more common with yt people. Because a lot of minorities are accustomed to multi-generational homes. My parents have always supported me by letting me stay home until I'm ready.
@@averyveryveryspecificname2212 i don’t know which race does it the most but ive met black ppl who feel that way and white ppl too. All I can say is they were American
Good to hear from you 🤍🤍excited for your journey
