That is one piece of incredible engineering .
God the 800 accelerate quick on electric power
It does indeed, one thing I will say: that train was a few minutes late, and I saw a few more while I was there, and that one definitely accelerated faster than others. I guess he put it straight into full power lol
@@TheGWRailfanwon’t that make the passengers lose balance? Or is everyone supposed to be seated?
@@jayasmrmore3687 It absolutely would, and many drivers now take it easy on the throttle from stationary to prevent a repeat of many genuine situations where passengers and staff have been knocked over from the fast acceleration.
I am very proud to be a part of building this series of trains...
Nice I would be too they are lovely and although I know it’s not your fault but I heard some axels have stared to crack
this comment did not age well
personally I wouldn’t be they’re practically falling apart
@@drw-jd6tu they are all fine?
@@OnTheRailwayOfficial not all of them
Well thanks for posting ! - Great for me to see such impressive acceleration like that.
That noise brings so much nostalgia
God those electric motors windong up is the music of the heavens
It's so brilliant
Class 800s do sound much quieter when electric
I love the british railway, even tho i don't even know a slice lol (a hug from brazil)
Great video. ☺️ I just subscribed to your RUclips channel. ☺️
Thank you! 😀
@@TheGWRailfan Ur welcome.☺️
Hitachi IGBT-VVVF
Excellent 👍👍👍💕💕💕❤️❤️❤️
Now hold on a second... That sounds like a Sydney Trains M, H, A and/or B set
If those are built by Hitachi they probably use similar parts
M & H sets aren't the same, but the A or B sets are.
I listened to this again, and it is DEFINITELY an a/b set sound
@@mrmemer2179 it is
Aren't the A and B sets built in South Korea.?
Amazing
Lol nice
Just like CAF-Train in MTR
Typical Japanese IGBT-VVVF
sounds like E233-3000
Keio 7000 Series
Rapid things like rockets on rails! I'm not over keen on them I prefer hst's
Great video:
its soo good
Is that the class 80X
京王7000系
Sounds like the class 395 (only faster
you stoped this too early mate
Made by Hitachi don't you know......
hi-crack-chi
Didnt know plastic could sound so good
*Aluminium
Sounds like a Sukhoi SU-57. Eh, I’ve heard better sounds
Its really powered by steam....
It isnt a steam train, its an electric train
And Hitachi made a electric train. So this is feel Japanese.
