Nice video man. I can see that the solo does not have the small volume knob like the 2i2 and bigger versions. Does this mean you cant adjust the volume when watching movies or listening to music? or does the monitor knob work for both(for normal volume and direct monitor volume) ?
It means the single volume knob controls both the outputs at the rear and the headphone out at the front. Not ideal if you regularly use both, although if you have a separate monitor controller or passive preamp for the speakers you'd be fine.

Thank you for this video. I am in the process of returning this pile of junk to Amazon so at the beginning of the video you showed exactly how each item was placed. And what I did was I just placed every single item where it's supposed to be in relation to the location. Unlike the sure mic, this mic It's absolutely horrible. I heard that it's worth about $50. I expected a higher quality microphone but alas I got a dollar store mic. I'm about to sell it but thank you again for showing me how each item was originally placed

Hello WT. Thanks for your review. I am a video editor and just got the KRK Classic 5 Speakers. For some strange reason they included four XLR cables that don't serve me much purpose. However, I wanted to get the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 to connect to my iMac and my PC laptop. It seems I'll need XLR-1/4" cables for the Scarlett to the Speakers and a cable/s (?) that connect to the computers. Would this work?

Can you still activate & register it under your name and have access to the softwares (Ableton Live, Pro-Tools, etc), if you get a used Focusrite unit, even the previous owner had already registered it under his/her name and downloaded ALL the software?. Actually I bought one that works really well, just find a cheap shock mount to put on it when you get a chance. Search this on Amazon for a budget option: NEEWER Adjustable Microphone Suspension Boom Scissor Arm Stand
Of course it will work, it will even work better because USB C generally has more bandwith... Well depends on the protocol integrated inside the cable 🤔

If someone screamed in this mic that mic can record that or not ? i have big problem with this because every time I reacting to scary things in games my mic couldn't record that I already have beyerdynamic fox
entirely depends on the effects and limiters you have on your mic and streaming kit/obs. If you're max-peaking any mic, then the interface will not pick it up. Using compressors and limiters should work just fine
Yes this is great for beginners. I'm actually going purchase one. I have been using m audio Mobile pre for years now and its past due for a upgrade. Yes it works fine with mac. I know a few mac users who a scarlett interface.

Its Ableton Live Lite which is a cut down version. Doesn't have all the plugins and can only create a limited number of tracks at once. But its not time limited.

@@francescotrotta9905 Thanks for subscribing. I'm not sure about free DAWs but Ableton Lite is a good starter. The mic clip has a removable adapter so it will fit any mic stand 3/8" or 5/8".
under the front lid of the box it says that you plug in the main unit with the USB cable and on the dialogue box you press the start here option. Then you have to register your product and you gain access to downloading the various goodies for your pc
dtechlogic what I found There is no sense to buy 250 ohms And what about other two models Logically we can see what focusrite put into their bundle and they put 32 ohms with 3 gen and 60 ohms with 2 gen. Gerhard Muniz He just said the headphones are equivalent to a $40 pair of monitoring headphones. I’d recommend getting this combo if you don’t have any other gear. But like me I already have a mic and a pair of headphones so yeah.

I found this unit to be a poor interface. The sound quality is poor with no bottom end and a very compressed sound. Also the headphone output was weak and volume dropped when direct monitoring was engaged. Very disappointing unit!
I have not had the pleasure of purchasing my first 2i2 bundle - but as a hail mary attempt to help: do you happen to be running it into Windows 10? Because that damn operating system seems to hate all things "USB Microphone/Sound Related". Just as a possible fix or avenue to peruse.

Sounds like it's better than what you were using at the start. The audible hissing when you spoke was driving me nuts.

The problem with MIC is that, it has to be close to the mouth and straight. Playing piano and singing is challenging

Theres no simple way to do it afaik. Although you might get some luck by the original owner contacting Focusrite directly.

It comes with Ableton live lite so you do some basic recordings and mixings
It’s class compliant meaning you don’t need to download any software to use it. You can just literally plug it in via usb and go to town.

As I assume, you plug the device on the new pc and it reads the s/n directly so normally you should have access to the software for reloading

It does struggle with the DT 770 Pro 250 Ohm a little bit, doesn't quite have enough power. It might be better with the 32 or the 80 Ohm tho.

I have wack microphone but good headphones can't decide if I need bundle
i cant get my mic that clear. its sounds really really low and if i increase the gains it will get muffled.

There is a phantom power switch that should be on when using a condenser mic, maybe that is the issue
