- In this cold process soap making tutorial, I am making a kiss pour soap but I want to use the effect that the inside of the kiss pour has rather than the normal top view, so I'm making 10 layers of kiss pour soap and then cutting the bars as traditional bars to get the effect of all the layers in the side of the soap.

I like your log splitter. Works well and doesn't take up a crap load of room.
It does work really well, but it does take up lots of room, it's pretty big
Excellent mould, the wood looks beautiful, nice and thick as is the liner which will help insulate the soap during saponification
It is a lovely mould, it was a bit of an investment, but I think it's worth it and as you know they will last for ages.

It wasn't too bad, it did take a few hours, but I did other things in between the layers
A lovely soap, and technically perfect, 🤗 It's so cool to hear you being pleased with the result.
Personally, I love the previous version. It is like unwrapping a present: each time revealing a new design layer in such vibrant colours.
But that's personal taste.
