I have never made soap (and probably never will) but I could watch your videos all day! Always so well done, and you have so much knowledge to share, but you're always so humble about it. Thank you for sharing xx
I'm just in awe of how soap makers'/artists' in general minds work!! I never get how these ideas are formed! And that just the basic idea. Let alone figuring out how to actually DO the danged thing! The layering, twisting the cutting..... NOPE! This person's brain just does NOT work in those dimentions!! Thank you for sharing these beauties!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰
Lisa u are incredible!. My sister came for a visit with me last summer. She kept telling me I want to teach u how to soap. I'm thinking "Oh boy....ok." Long story short I'm addicted.... I love her recipe. She lives on the coast of BC Canada, so we communicate telephone ECT. I wanted a more in-depth look at soaping. I searched amongst the soapers on RUclips and then Lisa popped into the picture. Then I saw this volcano lol, incredible!!!! Lisa thank U!!! U are quite a teacher, I'm binge watching ur videos. Love ur art, because that's what it is! 😊😊😊❤
I love how the sculpted design on each soap is slightly different. These really embody one of the things I love about abstract art -- that you can stare at it for hours and keep seeing different things. And each time you come back to the piece, with new eyes and new experiences, you see something else. As always, great work! Thank you for brightening my day.
Your a super teacher, calm approach, excellent instruction and application You make the use of the pallet knife look easy but I’m sure you need much practice to perfect that skill, the soap turned out great. Thank you.
Thanks so much Tassie girl. I found that trace was quite important, it needed to be thick but not too thick, so just at the point where it would roll nicely, once it got thicker the edges of the designs started to get jagged.
Such a gorgeous design, and a really relaxing video. Was lovely to watch the ombre and the soap curl design being made, with no fuss or drama. Thanks so much for sharing, love watching the master at work. 😊
Hi Lisa, I recently did a soap making course before coming across your videos! It was nothing compared to your videos as it's so much more information and more detailed. Thanks you for your fun and cheerful manner of teaching and you really make my day after watching one of your videos😂😊💖👍
Lisa, I love watching your videos and learning about soap making. I really like how you explain everything and your soaps are always so lovely! I always come away learning something different and having a bit of fun with a laugh or two :)
Oh these colours remind me of ice cream! What a beautiful soap, Lisa, I am quite fond of ombre and this amazing design is to die for...very elegant! Thank you again for showing us the way, much appreciated all you advice🙏❤️
Wow I love watching you make soap I am a beginner that my dad was an artist so it runs through my blood I will definitely try that so far it's been a great journey thanks my love for your designs and things that you teach us and techniques
I think this just might be my favorite of your creations. So off-the-charts- beautiful. You my lady, are an amazing artist! And very inspirational to me. :-)
Lovely just lovely!!! I am not a fan of pink at all my favorite color is the color of your cabinets in the beginning of your video but I really love what you did with those 3 colors. And your art work was just amazing. I love the way you think outside the box.
Ooh yes I love a good old bright lime green, I remember when we were doing our kitchen it was so hard to get the colour we wanted, people just gave us weird looks, so we had to get the doors etc specially made
@@IDreamInSoap I know what you mean about the weird looks. I special ordered a soap cutter lime green but it arrived looking like a Christmas green. Not exactly what I wanted but I think it will cut soap no problem.
I like this...I love pallet painting on canvas....I will do this one... a friend just bought me a brand new set of pallets knifes....I will just move them into my soapy room...Thank so much...mary
This is just lovely to look at, I'm wondering if I would want to use this soap for fear of losing the 3d design. It would probably sit on my shelf and look pretty!
AW thanks so much. Yes the design will eventually wear off, which is why I typically like to make soap where the design goes all the way through the bar. But I would hope the whole bar is still very pretty even without the abstract part.
Здравствуйте, очень нравятся Ваши работы, хотелось бы узнать рецепт массы, которой вылепливаете на готовом мыле. Работы классные, балдею от Ваших шедевров. Спасибо.
I wonder if you could let the dough set up even more firmly, and then make really smooth gradients with a pasta machine the way the fimo clay artists do?
Yes, you probably could do that, for the challenge soap dough wasn't allowed and the soap still had to be spreadable, but outside the rules of the challenge you could certainly give it a go
@@IDreamInSoap I want to start making soaps. I’ve never done it before and do not have any experience about oils in the process of saponification. Any kind of olive oil will work or it is pomace needed and any rice bran oil will work (like for cooking ) or it needs to be certain version of it just for cosmetic porpoises? Thanks.

AW, thanks a lot Shonna, I'm not really sure. We had to avoid making real things, which I struggle with, as you know me I like a little 'scene' in a soap, but I did want the abstract to work with the bar rather than just be something separate on top.
Thanks so much. Oh and for temperature it's sort of what I've got use to for making soap. 90% of the people who watch my videos are from the USA, so I use F as that's what the huge majority of the people watching are use to dealing with.
