Miss Debbie. You remind me of my auntie. She used to do this too. She made black castor oil, soap, starch, bammy, broom, matress, pillow, medicines, etc the list goes on. She was real old school. Its a pity her children never wrote it down especially the herbs and things for medicinal purposes. Glad you got a video record. But please do a book too.👍🏽

Once again you have taught this honorary Jamaican something new. I have searched for videos, but no one makes it as simple to follow like you. Thanks again Sis 🙏🏽💖

Ms Debbie, thank God for the invention of blenders because I always hated grating any food by hand growing up. All those missing finger nails and bleeding hands were no joke. It sure brings back memories. I never like the custard.

My mom used to boil a coconut oil to take care of us but she take it to the coconut mill because it was a lot , she paid people to help her wash the coconut some times she would take 6 or more kerosene tins of oil to coronation market to sell.
