  • Today, we're breaking down a 5 point kick: the Jumping 360 Axe Kick, which is one of Master Adrian's favorite kicks. Hey! I was the commenter from last vid and after re-watching the SEA Games instead of "no upper body movement" I meant not too excessive upper body movement. Typically for me, my upper body is the first that moves way too much (I do like a prepare stance that makes it obvious and then kick) when I prepare an explosive or fast kick. Making it very obvious and also making it easier to dodge. But, the SEA games player still had explosive kicks without excessively using his upper body. So I'm guessing I lack strength in my legs?

it is hard to tell without seeing it. Normally you drive your kicks with your hips and the knee should lead the way before the kick is released.
