      I love that you do not shame him for bad habits. you also didn't change his style, just helped with some needed fundamentals. Amazing! I am 5 months in and have really used videos like this to get me to a 17.2 handicap. Thanks for sharing this content!

    Hi guys you have improved my game tremendously, however, I have trouble striking the ball on a down hill or up hill lie, could you please do a series on these situations.

    Good vid. I used to compress my irons and strike then well. Been struggling last few months. Got my hc down to 9 it’s back out to 13. But my irons have been letting me down. Good to refresh the memory. Back to the range it is 👍🏽

    A great reminder for my main propensity: digging the toe and/or chunking. Set up is a big part of that. Posture/Balance is as well.

    Great knowledgeable video! I struggle the same way. I will try to duplicate these movements today at the range. Hopefully it will help and make the game more enjoyable.

    I'm currently going through the same issue with inconsistent contact and a nasty shank. I've gone to a professional and some of this was covered, but he is trying to change my style of swing too much and it's not working. I'm going to hit the range with these basics in mind and see if I can work it out.

    YES! This was me until just recently! I used to "crowd" the ball, and get "stuck" coming through. My miss was also a shank, or massive smother hooks (usually with a pull thrown in just for fun!) Since giving myself more space at setup, I haven't had any shanks, and hit the ball much further, and straighter! I still have to learn to trust the left side of the green more, as I still find myself aiming right, albeit intentionally, out of fear of the pull hook! LOL Luv luv luv your online lessons!

    Can you elaborate more on the grip trick and angle setting mentioned around the 9:00 min mark? Not sure I'm following that

    • @meandmygolf.
      @meandmygolf.  11 месяцев назад +1

      Holding out in front of you creates an angle between your hand and club so the club fits better in the fingers. When you do it from set up, the hand is not angled enough to create the right positioning.

      @@meandmygolf. Thanks! I thought you might have been alluding to it somehow enabling wrist hinge by holding it out in front but that makes sense

    my question is how do you work on speed? when I practice slow I get good contact and direction. when I start speeding things up to try to deliver more power and gain distance the balls go all over the place. any guidance is appreciated.

    I bought that glove of yours, in XL. Who was the glove modelled on ? Jeremy Beadle ? Cuts off my blood supply.

    That glove is a game changer literally, tried a thousand things and over thinking a million more, bought the glove and slice went away 🤦

    I'd be over the moon if I could hit shots like his 1st "poor" ones
    For the life of me I can't get a golf ball in the air.
    All I ever do is just roll the ball 20-30 yards down the course
    Take me 5-6 shots to get to a par 3 green because every shot rolls 30 yards at most
