Simone if she only competed bars would make teams in any country outside the big 3. And heck even this year China brought a bars specialist who was averaging only a couple tenths ahead of Simone's scores.

Does anyone know if Becky D is still training? I know she wasn’t at worlds so I wasn’t sure. I do wish her sister was still competing, but greatly respect her decision to stop.
Same with Elisabeth Seitz- I really hope she can get to Paris, I’d love to see her get that elusive Olympic medal.
B. Downie still trains, unfortunately she didn’t have a great performance at worlds selection camp and that’s why she wasn’t on the team in Antwerpen.

jeez the scoring is completely stupid. It should follow the way country medals are counted in the Olympics: 1 gold is worth MORE than numerous of other medals, one silver counts more than any bronze or beyond, etc
The serie is called "beyond medals". And you are expecting gold >>> everything?
And I think the Olympics counting system is a mess. Where a country with 1 gold 0 silver and 0 bronze is above a country with 10 silver and 0 gold. The only worthy medal is Gold, Silver and Bronze are just to tie-break.
@@gymnasticfan9148 That is the way it is counted, a first place worths more that 1000 second ones, a second place worths more that 1000 third ones and so on. Your channel your content your videos, just pointing out the obvious, you can’t put, for instance, Latynina who has a gold and a bronze lower than Seitz who only got a bronze plus some fourth and fifth and whatever places, it is simple stupid. And basically all the list is a whole mess, haha
