thanks. I didn't use any special plugins here I just ran the beat into a soft clipper and turned it up a little so the whole thing was peaking above 0 db and it clipped when I exported. Pretty sure its bad to let it clip but it sounded okay to me so I left it. Otherwise I just put a decapitator on my whole drums mix bus and adjust the knobs until I like how it sounds. Also get a kick sample with a lot of high-end if u want them to be punchy, I often use the lov kit vol.1 by @lovuandy on ig and it has some cool dance samples.
@@prod44clover nah clipping isn't really bad in certain senarios, i don't produce beats like this (i'm a mix engineer for metal n shit) but I usually let a lot of my tracks clip or I clip them with a plugin. Also depends on the bit depth, if you're in 64bit float or 32bit float then clipping outside of a plugin is pretty much non existent. LOVE THE FUCK OUTTA THIS THO, found the beat off snave and had to find the original!
