Most excellent oral presentation and video. .....Best I've seen for the Gene Cafe. You mentioned you own the CBR-101 at home. Would love to see you post a video of that machine since I've just ordered one. This would be so helpful. You've done a splendid job!!

They came out a while ago now. They are no loinger sold by Bella Barista in the UK in favour of a cheaper and I think better (for production roasting) Amazon Dalian 1kg electric drum roaster. I did keep both roasters for a while but eventually sold the CBR1200. I simply couldn't justify keeping both roasters. The CBR is ideal for home roasters, quick roasting a Kg now and then because no warm up or cool down required and in a coffee shop where customers can see the whole roasting process and it can be left to run in automated mode.
Great explanation and video! Like one of the previous comments I am also looking to purchase the 101 and would love you to do a full roast using that machine! Great work!

Yes, it was, sometimes I regret selling it...but I couldn't keep both 1kg roasters.

I sold the CBR1200 quite a few years ago now. I had two roasters for a while and could not justify keeping both. I now only have the Amazon Dalian 1kg drum roaster.
why you stop the Heater 2 at 12 min ?
