I tried this recipe. Initially I was apprehensive of the taste of this recipe, since we don't use any soar ingredient ( Tamarind etc) But to my surprise, taste turned out soo good. To the extent that my fussy toddler 1.5yr old also enjoyed it. It became an instant hit in my family. Thanks a lot for this wonderful recipe madam. !!
Thank you Aunty! I was really looking for this recipe for a long because I was wondering how it is possible, the pure white with super taste..I tried with curd and all. But didn't get the taste. thank you for revealing the secret.. may God grant you more health and happiness 😊😊
Thank you mam... I had asked you about this... Thanks for remembering... Instead of green chilly I tried with seeds of dry red chilly and a few drops of lemon juice and a small pinch of asafoetida paste and blended with fresh white coconut and salt... Result was excellent... I'm very fond of food hence I keep trying different things... Thanks again
I agree with Renaissance Woman. For better taste and colour yoghurt or buttermilk is the best since tamarind or sour component is not added to this chutney.
Nice pure white chutney. Thanks for sharing this recipe. Gitaji, u remind me of a Physiotherapist, Dr. Mrs Kesavan. U resemble her a lot. We worked together in Trust Hospital at Bharuch, Gujarat. where I was RMO 30 yrs back..She left the job & settled at Coimbatore.

Hello Geeta ji, I have A small tip, instead of using milk to retain the white colour of the chutney, add a few cashewnuts while grinding the coconut, the colour will re main white, the chutney will have A lovely texture, and will taste wonderful. Pls do try.
Thank you for sharing this recipe and providing useful tips. I don't know if you have noted, Gita ma'am...I have mentioned in my earlier comment... since long I have been scraping off the brown layer of coconut, grinding the white part and preserving it in an air tight container in the freezer.

Aunty your way of explaining recipes is very nice. I want to learn making medu vada tips. Mine ways comes hard. Do we need to add soda? Can it be made crispy outside and soft from inside without adding soda.
Soumya please watch my video on Medu wada. I have explained all the tips clearly. There is no need to add soda. You can add a tsp of rice flour instead, although it will still be crisp even without it.
Wow amme really pure white chutney ...thanks for sharing the secret of adding milk while grinding ..while grinding the chutney should it be coarse or fine ?.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Nice recipe madam 😀. But I want share a thing that milk and salt should not be mixed directly in any food. These both are VIRUDHA AHAARS. And by having it together it'll be reason for some allergies and illness. It's just a small information. Please don't mind 😀
