@Bible Reviewer - You lost me at the point where you admit that there’s no way authenticate the stories. Should I take that to mean that the book doesn’t present any objective evidence to verify the stories? This book was recommended to me and I was thinking of purchasing it. However, if the book contains no supporting evidence, then it’s just a meaningless collection of claims and a complete waste of time and money. The sincerity, passion or social status of those making the claims does not constitute evidence for authenticity. Nor does any internal consistency of the stories or commonality between stories constitute evidence. Likewise, consistency with scripture is in no ways evidence.
