    Fabulous! Mr. Mahin makes this classic show-off piece look easy, which it is certainly not. He was a music ed major? Some students somewhere are fortunate to have him as their teacher.

    I like his interpretation and performance but not so fond of the instrument because it sounds quite muted and that can be just the problem of recording and youtube. the other problem is no matter how many decades go by, the music always remains inside a person, so I can't listen to this without wanting to play it again. Am amazed how popular this instrument has become.

      i promise its just the recording, microphones like to pick up higher pitches more. if you go see a euphonium performance in person its much better :)

      @@dominikdanda7863 fr euphonium sounds so weird when i listen back to recordings and crap, it just all sounds different.
