It is very clear to me he would've caused several disasters and failed miserably if just a few or even one of his allies wasn't there. He wasn't considered a good knight until he learned more about the world and began to understand the consequences of his actions while still being loyal and fighting for justice.

On one hand it's a kind-of-typical OP protagonist, but on the other hand it's a cool story of a little skeleton wishing to be a paladin and all the kingdom intrigues. It's like a mashup of Skull: The Hero slayer & Skeleton Knight in Another World.
I think the reason it's so good is because the writers are pitting problems that are constantly outside of the protagonist control or frame of reference. Little dude just wants to make everyone happy. They have morals that they wants to stick by and they do their best to not compromise on them.

This story does a great job at showing the complexity and moral ambiguity of civilization. Then you throw a pure soul with power into the mix and its very entertaining and touching.
While i usually dislike "simple" protagonists, but i very much like this one, and i like even more how they handled the conflict of childish naivity with the harshness of life, with serious undertones, but or less light over all agenda.
This is like the best manga I’ve found recapped. So many are just so shallow. But the convo between Iron and Shelly at 2:30:00, for instance, is a very deep look at human feelings.

This is an incredible work of art and I congratulate the author on writing a story worth of as much praise as Jobless Reincarnation. It is such an incredible change in pace to have a manga that gets as philosophical as this one. I am praying for a good ending where at least a majority of humanity can learn to better themselves and transcend beyond their rudimentary understanding of morality and the world around them. I get it if humans don't end up learning anything but I love a proper good ending.

I originally read the novel for this in Chinese, and I recently found out about the manga and also read it. The manga is at chapter 160ish, there will be a GREAT scene in another 50ish chapters which I look forward to so much. When I read the novel, that scene made me tear up (i very rarely do, not a emotional person). 10/10 would recommend

Well, one could expect a lighthearted funny story of a lich that wants to be the beacon of light. And true, that are a lot of such elements. But one also gets a study of how bad our society is and how our own stupidity and greed makes it almost impossible to do anything about it. That being said this is a good recap and even better story.

It offers some really nice insight into the idealism of a Knight/Paladin and how humans can seek to take advantage of those ideals. I’ve always liked the idea of an sentient undead being not inherently evil. Unnatural and potentially cursed, but not evil. That a person’s faith and conviction can extend beyond the grave to fulfill their oath. But I like this as well. A little naive Lich becoming a Paladin is most entertaining.
