hello I love your videos and now I have a music suggestion for you to record a video, the name of Demolisher's song from the band Slaughter To Prevail, I want to know your opinion, hugs
Fab looks so uplifting and vibrant. Her whole face smiles when she is interested or laughs. Chrigel's voice is always so buttery yet raspy. Love the both of them, great job with the podcast.
I was lucky to get on an elevator and realize I was sharing it with Chrigel and Nicole, the violinist. They were so sweet and missed their floor just to talk to me, the crazy fan who was probably half incoherent from shock and beer. Love seeing their interviews, they are so interesting. And of course amazing live!
Chrigel is so cool. I got to meet him at a small university show they did with Varg and Wintersun, he was just hanging out in the crowd just outside the mosh, and I didn't want to bother him with the "fan" stuff, so I just offered a fist bump and told him I love Eluveitie. A bunch of people started recognizing him and asked for pictures and stuff, and he happily posed for pictures and everything. He was just another total metalhead and just loved interacting with his fans. Truly, one of the coolest people I've ever met.
Wow. I'm so late to the party. Just discovered this band and love it and am pleased with how warm and upbeat they seem. Also impressed with how professionally done this interview was. Grest questions and insights. Also, the comment about not gaining an ability because it would change who he is and not be genuine was pretty deep. Lot of respect for them.
Really nice and insightful. I've been following Eluveitie for almost 10 years and this interview felt like a long due conversation with one of my fav bands. Thanks Beth ❤️ And much love and respect to both Fab and Chrigel.
NO WAY! So cool you got them on the podcast! Gotta agree with Chrigel, working at a call center doing surveys was THE WORST job I ever had. Not the hardest, but, by far the most soul-deadening and terrible.
This was a great interview! I've seen them twice live, once with the previous lineup and once with the new lineup. They are awesome live. I was supposed to see them again in September but COVID-19 messed that up. 🙁 Fabienne is just Fabulous! Though I still like Anna's version of Call of the Mountains better. It's not a slight against Fabienne, I guess I am just used to Anna's voice. The new material with Fabienne is incredible. Thank you for this interview. Thank you for entertaining us during these crazy times. 😁
Hello thanks for your comments and supports, your comments and constant supports have brought me this far. Keep supporting❤️ Please send me a mail via glanzmannchrigel46@gmail.com
I have been listening to them since Slania and have been a fan ever since. Them and Korpiklaani are my favourite folk metal bands. Great to see this amazing podcast. Cheers.
And Fabienne also sings in another band that shows her singing skills in a completely different metal subgenre. ILLUMISHADE - Rise [Live Acoustic Version by Fabienne Erni]
@@Rosannasfriend I also recommend the band Cellar Darling, a project that three former, long time members (Anna Murphy, Ivo Henzi and Merlin Sutter [a founding member]) formed after leaving Eluveitie in 2016. Anna continues playing the Hurdy Gurdy (just like she did in Eluveitie), but she's also the lead singer here and this band's sound is more Progressive and adventurous than Eluveitie.
Beth, as a professional singer, I'd love to hear you sing as you tell others how to sing. The Americans have a saying, those who cannot do, teach. Please don't consider this as a negative comment.
Loved it! When i first saw your videos last year, i really couldnt have expected such a great interview of Eluveitie. Of the one band that happens to be my favourite, that you one day discovered on a recommendation. Thank you for the great content!
Their english is very good in comparison to other swiss people (including me), but still would immediately be able to say that they are swiss due to the accent.
Great interview Beth! Interviewers never put much effort or interest in, but this is interview gave me loads of insight into Eluveitie, who I've been listening to for years.
Great interview! I've been a fan of Eluveitie for years. Great questions. I really got to know the backgrounds of these two a lot more. Keep up the good work.

Hey Beth, has anyone ever told you that you remind them of Kaylee from Firefly? Because that's totally who you remind me of, especially when you wear Asian style clothing.
I have fun with all your vide. I would like that you analyze Cellar Darling. I started to listening to them recently and I think that They have good and innovative ideas from genre with mixes of progressive, rock, metal and folk. Thank you
The last acoustic album they were talking about (evocation II : pantheon) is my favorite album and now after his explanation I now know why, you can feel it in the music

Metal people are generally very nice people. But these two seems even nicer than Tom Araya and THAT'S a tuff one to conquer. 👍 Awsome people who makes great music! My green vinyl Slania is being played a lot. Great interview Beth! 👌
Great interview! That was great to learn more about my favourite band since their september shows are cancelled. I'm interested in hurdy gurdys mostly because of them and just received mine yesterday ^_^
I was interested in it too so I took a deep dive around the net and found this site facebook.com/GalloBrittonicLanguage/ the linguist behind this page has worked with Eluveitie before & has books out about his impressive work on the gaulish language. So this might be what Chrigel is talking about in the video!
It is hard because Anna Murphy has such a unique voice. So Call of the Mountains, Rose for Epona are REAL hard to hear done by anyone else. Fabienne is fantastic though and I love all the new music with her. And she sings the older stuff real well, too. My brain is just hardwired into Anna's version of those two specific songs. Love this band. Old, current whichever incarnation.
Reacto to "Chitãozinho & Xororó - Sinônimos (Grandes clássicos sertanejos acústico) [Part. Especial Zé Ramalho]" you wiill not be disappointed. Its a Brazilian classic song.
Most famous Metal Band from Switzerland?....hmm,but definatly not the most INFLUENCIAL Metal Band....Tom Warrior and his Bands over the Years will always be Nr One !

I could listen to Chrigel read a newspaper. That voice though...

I want an audio book by Chrigel, that voice ❤️
He's so humble and so nice. When he said " great to be of service"..... 😊😊
And she is so great,...
Just this week i got addicted to this band, it's like an early Christmas gift to learn more about them

They're just lovely people and amazing musicians. Their live performances are top notch.
I’m so pleased to see them getting more attention. Thanks so much for this!
He has one of the most relaxing speaking voices I've ever heard. I almost fell asleep twice, listening to him talk.
Maybe they don't know how much I love them and cherish in my daily life. I am awe inspired by these awesome guys.

Oh so that's how you say Eluveitie
I've been wrong for 10 years damn
You took the words out of my mouth!
I was pronouncing every letter lol
:chuckles: You are not alone in this, Pable :O

I missed out on so much and just found out about them earlier this year. They are now my favorite. How can a metal fan miss out on this band?
Awesome!!! These are two of my favorite vocalists, thanks for doing this!

I was smiling through the whole interview. Good job literally :) Awesome interview!
I saw Eluveitie for the first time recently in Madrid together with Laguna Coil and they gave an impressive gig. Congratulations on the interview!
Loved it!

Thank you! Neither could I! x
Agree!
what a nice interview!
We agree!
Fabulous interview! I've had a chance to meet them both and they are such kindhearted people and amazing musicians.
I listened their song first when I was in 3rd Standard. It's been almost 12 years since I'm following this band.
Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
This band reminds me of a time in my life, 2008 in particular.
Celts are everywhere!
The most talented and diverse band ever! That’s what caught me 😁
Love how Fabienne pronounces “also” with the cutest German accent ever
That's a Swiss tic, it is more like a "well"
Edit: (I'm Swiss)
@@turinturambar8787 i agree, i am swiss too
Yeah! Damn, don't call it an accent! ;) It's "aso", not "also" as in German. And yeah, it's pretty much something like the English "well".
@@Eluveitieprivat eh... no. The German word 'also' means 'therefore'. My German friends use it all the time.
Thank U for this interview! That s really awesome! Cheers!
Glad you enjoyed it!

I LOVE ELUVEITIE 🖤
Lovely chat! I was bummed to have not been well enough to get to their gig last year, but hoping to fix that mistake sometime in the future.
Great interview. I had no idea of the Swiss Celtic connections there despite having been there many times.
You guys are great.
Great interview! I've been a fan of Eluveitie for years. Great questions. I really got to know the backgrounds of these two a lot more. Keep up the good work.

Super excited to see this. Been a fan of Eluveitie since like 2008 or so when I discovered them in college.
What do you think about the vocals of Danny Filth, from Cradle of Filth?? Pretty impressive in my opinion. The metal singer with the biggest register.
Probably the best folk metal band for today.
Thank you so much!
I love you for this!! Thank you!

🤘Metalhead Family 🤘♥️
great interview thank you

Funny watching this and coincidentally wearing an Eluveitie shirt :-D
Curiously, I discovered this band a few days ago on you tube, and now I see them with you! PD: I love your eyes. Greetings from Chile
Love how you evolved into an Eluveitie Fan :D
Saw them live 5 years ago
Can you react to the song "Qué ves" by the group "Divididos" from Argentina?
It almost looked like you were interviewing your doppelganger!
"Folk music is the oldest genre that doesn't have the fucking decency to die!" lmao that made me die hahahaha xD
i Would like to ask a question, why would they change their song to like more english and more female vocals goods than harsh like SLANIA.
Great
U should react to Dúo salteño, Juan Panadero
OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!
Fabienne is sooooooooooo cute
Could u do please do something in Scott Gaelic
4:34 sorry I had no choice lol
...yea, also...
Please react to Fifth Harmony Destiny Child’s tribute.
