Very detailed analysis on Indian Navy and it’s mission to build our soft power image while being tough for our enemies….thanks for sharing this vital information
As usual a well studied, enlighteningreport! You always add value to understanding of the international affairs, relations, etc Best wishes to Nitin Gokhale and the team Stratnews Global. ❤🎉 13:5914:01
This was a uniquely informative episode; not many (actually none) channels carried any information on this endeavour by the Indian Navy. In the first half of the episode, it was cited that the information was collected from publicly available sources. Would have been additionally informative if those sources too were cited.
Nitin ji , Thanks for bringing the progress acheived by IN in recent years. I would like to bring to your attention to another aspect which is not looked into. The number of ships in the Navy has not grow as we would like it to be. Most of the modern ships has gone into replacing Soviet Era ship's, there Is not much movement in numbers as the order's have been miniscule and Just to replace Soviet era ships. The Navy has modernised though to a large extent. Please create awareness on the lack of huge order for ships and the absolutely no increase in the size of IN in the last decade. Thank you.
Also one suggestion is you create smaller videos as well with catchy points of your talk. Even creating shorts etc will help reach your channel to audience who don't have time to listen to the whole Speech, But will be happy to consume content that are short and conveys information accurately of the happening.
Thank you for the suggestion... we do put out smaller versions in terms of SNG Snippets, do check them out, and let us know if you have any feedback. ruclips.net/p/PLqG7Etq4EK6jTLBq8yJJg_Kzao2fLABaO
Indian Navy personnel has been at CENTCOM for ages. Nothing new. In fact, the USN wanted him to be at INDOPACCOM, but India wanted someone at CENTCOM (for very obvious reasons).
19 ships mean half of our principal surface fleet. We need way more warships if we really aspire to enhance the INs footprint.23 destroyers and frigates can hardly qualify us as a serious naval power.
💯 we need couple dozen more destroyers and submarines at the least! As well as ASW, Minewarfare and other types. Maybe a couple cruisers as well. Also kinda need more VLS in our destroyers if numbers of the ships can't be increased as much.
Honestly I don't like the typical defensive , reactionary , risk averse and even cowardly mentality of many in our establishment including commentators like Nitin Gokhle egs ) Regarding Assumption islands or Agalega island .. our Navy ought build some kind of military base and ISR post there ....that covers entire eastern African coast for us + critical sea routes .. but here Nitin is like ... “ ohh no no…no.. India does not build military bases like chinese .. these are friendly nations..”. as if u build bases on enemy nations …….. that is a difference between n aspiring great power and a mediocre power …. Typical cowardly defensive mentality on display here by Nitin …. Hope the navy does not think like Nitin Gokhle ….. show some expeditionary power , else the Chinese will gobble everything …
Why do u prevent fluency. Do u communicate by translating from Hindi to English. Aas. Aaa the the aaa what language does these mono syllables represent. Presentation should be excellent.
Great analysis. Much bigger expansion of INS than ever before, only possible due to Modi, let's be clear. Now let's consolidate those positions and go beyond near Sea of Japan to encircle China in the far East where we should have at least one nuke submarine with long range missiles including nukes. Also go on west side of Africa. Need to have deals with these nations to refuel and supply. India's posture is too defensive. It needs to also have a base in many of these nations, otherwise China will buy them out.
Friendly relationship with others is ok for peace time naval deployment but in case of war above mentioned countries will turnback us. India need real military base for real war and for this we have to spend money to lease out island.
@@alexmcaruthur6966 but still we have not brought any proper base . We still believe that goodwill visit to friendly port in peace time will allow us to use this port in war time. Which is foolish. We think we are the smartest people's on the world and American Chinese Russian are wasting money by leasing out and buying bases around world.

Proud of Indian Nevy and its role in "Indo-Pacific region"

@@ranadeepjash1150 fine so which base or more should we look at.
Building and maintaining foreign military bases require a lot of money. I don't think India has that kind of financial muscle to do that.

It's no harm India presence in the Indian ocean b cos India is surrounded by Indian ocean and Arabian sea so what's the fuss about it
What's the fuss about? It's already mention in the title of this video itself and many time host also mentioned that Navy is expanding it's reach🙏
