- In this report we cover IND Sindhukesari (S60)....A Sindhughosh-class diesel-electric submarine of the Indian Navy. Submarines ensure our national security....A Major factor in a naval warfare.. It is Capable of remaining underwater for months. The way to the target for Submariners is long, arduous, plagued with the unexpected and with harsh dilemmas, sometimes of life and death. We get you the glimpses of Life onboard a submarine.

I was a U.S. Navy submariner 1962 - 1970. Submariners have much in common that transcends country and era. I feel that these guys are my brothers. Also... excellent job by commentator.

Great report and video. I was a U.S. Navy Independent Duty Hospital Corpsman on a U.S. Navy nuclear fast attack. Man, after watching this video, I have NO right to complain about tight quarters on my boat. That was a LOT of living in a small space. From one submariner to another ... well done ... be safe.

One thing I noticed that all seamen submariners are in their early/mid twenties, highly professional and with great fitness. My salutation to Indian navy and particularly India's submariners. Jai hind. 👍🙏

Sindhukesari is an older legacy submarine. I’d be interested to see the inside of a modern nuclear attack sub like the INS Arihant
Yes she's 35 years old now but has been extensively upgraded around 3 years ago to extend her life. She's a Kilo Class Diesel SSK Submarine
Also INS Arihant is a SSBN and not SSN. Currently India' has 2 operational SSBN,s and two more in the construction phase. India' currently doesn't operate a single SSN. However plans are in the pipeline to construct SSN,s indigenously.
Just check videos of American and Chinese submarines.
You will definitely find analog systems like this in them .

I am in 8th class right now and my aim is to become a Submariner. It's not just my goal, it's my dream and making my dream true us my main priority.
Life in a submarine is very challenging as they showed in the video but I know I would become a fearless and brave Indian Submariner as these officers

For now women cannot become subnariners in Indian navy but u can do ur graduation from an American university, and get American citizenship or even candian and join us navy as a submariner. They allow women there.

Question for you, sir: During your tenure as a submarine captain and the extensive time spent submerged, did you ever observe or come across any phenomena that could be classified as 'UFO' activity or anything unexplained that piqued your curiosity?
Excellent show. I have watched a lot of "submarine life" type documentaries like this and I have to say, that is the most cramped of modern submarines I've seen yet. It looks quite hazardous just navigating through the hull. But, you have 2 toilets! Very good show! It is certainly no place for a claustrophobic person.

There were Indian sailors in my class at submarine school in Groton CT. We trained along side them to learn the basics before reporting to our first boats.
