    I think the greatest compliment you can get about a model railroad is that it looks real and that opening shot was so good that I couldn’t tell if it was real or a model. Incredible job.

      Thank you very much! I'm glad it looks realistic to you. Every modeler has their style, intentional or not. But I'm glad our tastes align.

      Also my love of trains came from growing up watching GN turn into BN and BNSF. I grew up in BROWNING watched trains and wanted what you built in your layout, I admire that. So if you have any questions about your build I maybe of some help.

      @@kvcroff That's awesome. How amazing to be able to witness that history first hand. I'll definitely send any questions I have your way.

    Seeing the unit coal train up close in the mainline upper level and then later on the lower level was a treat! I bet your operating sessions are satisfying.

      Glad you noticed that! That was a happy accident that I realized was unfolding after I started filming. But it is cool to see the amount of elevation change from top to bottom.

    How many cars can you hook to an engine in model railroading? These are some of the longest trains I’ve seen yet on RUclips.

    I recommend you should do a Canadian Pacific auto rack train

    I have a few engines I would love to run in on this great layout.

  • @TouchoftheBrushModelWeathering

    Just incredible man. Therre are a few layouts I want to operate and this is one of them! Will you be attending the nmra show in Dallas? Also what do you use to power your switches?

    • @railfan220
      @railfan220  Год назад +1

      Thank you! I will not be attending that show, unfortunately. And I use Tortoise slow motion switch machines. I uploaded a video recently where I talk about my signaling system. Included in that is a discussion of my switches.

    This is a mountain pass and BNSF routinely uses DPUs. Your trains are way too short as well. But great scenery and colors
