I was under the first warning! Tornado passed less than 2 miles to my west. There was debris raining down in my yard because the tornado was dropping debris for miles around.
I was very surprised when I got it because I thought its was just a confirmed tornado warning because I glanced at it on my watch and didn't see the pds

Ive been under regular tornado warnings before, i have never experienced a PDS Tornado warning before

I’ve had 2 pds tornado warnings in northern Illinois in 2015 another one in 2021. I didn’t have one in 2023 because I wasn’t close enough to Chicago.
