Vintage Otis Hydraulic Elevator Machine Room!

This is the same elevator as in the last video. The machine room is surrounded only by a fence, meaning it is possible to get a good view inside! I think the controller is original (at least some of the fixtures are replaced), but it isn't possible to see inside the cabinet. This elevator unfortunately wasn't running (the date on the tag suggests it last ran over 6 months ago). The main line switch is padlocked (no state red tag, the tag on there looks like more of a safety tag).

The disconnect panel is actually the secondary one, there is a primary one or a circuit breaker would be located in the electrical room. The "ball" within the the hydro line is a muffler, yes the tag is a lock out indicating the machine is being serviced, maintained.

Tyler and I were here on 2-21-24 and there was a relay that kept clicking over and over. Car not responding to any calls or opening the doors
