I have the watch 4 classic 42 mm silver, the sides are glossy and bezel is matte, while the 46mm like you have has opposite. Thats the difference that i found.
Still cant decide since both look so good. I will not however change straps and using it mostly for sports. Therefore black should be the answer but i think the silver one looks so damn good too that i cant decide. I have both and will return one
When the screen is off, I like the black much better. Silver looks a bit odd when screen is off, idk it's just me. However when the screen is on, the silver is awesome. I went black this time. Really liked the Gucci strap!

Me too. I think silver is only available in 42mm for Canada. No band option either, all you get is the most basic black silicone. Samsung loves to do this. I was forced to buy S21 Ultra in 128GB version because they only ever have colour options for the base models..
@@the_garniiics You're not overlooking it. For some reason they suddenly took away the ability to choose which strap you want with your watch on the second day of pre-orders. You can still order the straps separately on the Samsung website, but you gotta pay for them. Otherwise, you just get the silicone strap that "matches" your watch color.

Black is always cool and would match if you paired them with black Samsung Galaxy phones the white watch will go well with the white phones either way I still prefer black because it's more professional and makes you look like a secret agent.
i had watch 3 in black i traded in for watch 4 clasic in silver but i have it with white leather. it looks really clean had it originaly woth black leather but didn't look as good. i went woth white leather after seeing display at galaxy store.
The silver 42mm is different from the silver 46mm. I just saw them in the store today, I purchased the silver 42mm because it's polished and shiny on the sides. The silver 46mm is fully matte, I didn't like that

Did the size make a big difference on your wrist? Also how long did the battery last with regular use? None of these online reviews are doing the battery reviews yet both (42mmv46mm) have different battery sizes.
I'm hugely disappointed that Samsung doesn't offer the pink gold in the Classic version, (or any traditionallly feminine colors). These are traditionally male centric colors. They do the same thing with phones too.
Pls it seems galaxy watch (the very first galaxy watch about 2 years ago), the 46mm version of it is wider compared to the 46mm galaxy watch4 classic. I was not able to get the 46mm classic Bluetooth in stainless color here in Canada. The only version we have available is the black. So I had no choice. Oh well still nice.
You always have a choice. You could have waited for the Silver to become available again and then purchased it. It would have taken some time, sure, but its worth waiting for something that you truly want.

Honestly, as long as you’re not banging the watch around, you’re not going to see scratches. Mine is still in excellent shape. Of course, accidents happen, but as long as you’re reasonably careful, you’ll be fine. The silver one masks any scratches more easily though, to answer your question.

It seems to be completely gone from Amazon and hard to find on Ebay. I did finally find it at the following link and it looks pretty much exactly like the one in this video. I ordered it to make sure, and got it in the mail yesterday. The green on the watch matches the green of the strap in this video. For some reason it looks weird in the image preview on the website. Can u please confirm whether the silver color strap in normal galaxy watch 3 and galaxy watch 3 classic are of same color? I have this doubt because from youtube video review it seems silver starp of classic varient is darker than the normal varient. It looks like normal varient straps are more whitish and classic straps are darker.
hey, here in 2022 cause the watch5 has a fake bezel and I can't go back. You threw me for a loop cause I had that same leather strap on my galaxy watch 1! Cheesy I know, but I that was my daily driver for a couple years. The basic straps are so terrible haha.
Brushed silver (46 mm model) is less prone to scratches. Polished silver (42 mm) is more prone to scratches. As for the black models, they all are prone to scratches, and the silver material shows up horribly.

Honestly in that case I would definitely get the silver one. Are you sure those prices are for the same size? The silver is beautiful, and it is still a neutral color like your black phone, so the colors won’t clash at least. The silver is gorgeous.
Great comparison video! I got the Watch4 in Silver and also the Watch4 Classic in Silver. I personally think black is too dull for me. I am very light complected and like my bands darker than the watch face, just my personal preference. So I use dark Grey and Black as my daily straps and sometimes a dark brown for special occasions.
I agree, but the beauty of these watches is, you can customize them (mainly black) to your liking. I ordered a black and yellow bezel ring and black and yellow wristband. Trust me, they'll turn heads

The silicone strap that comes with the silver 46mm GW4 Classic is a smokey grey, I’d say. Definitely not white. In some parts of the world you can choose which strap comes with the watch you’re buying, however.
Now that it is WearOS, can you add multiple versions of the same watch? In the past, I had different colours of the same Tizen watch and you weren't able to pair both/have both paired at the same time.
I've always been able to have both paired at the same time, but you have to manually pick which one is actively connected through the Wear app. It's still the same with the WearOS switch. Both can be paired at once but only one can be actively connected.
Last year I bought a Samsung watch 3 because it has features like heart rate measurement, electrocardiogram, and a lot of good features, after I bought it I couldn't use the ECG feature. although I live in the US . Now I plan to buy a Galaxy Watch 4 but I don't know if I can use these features?

it’s possible disable bezel function to use it like dive watch or to track time elapse ? i mean = disable the bezel to dont go to menu when i turn or spin . I want that the bezel even rotating do not go to menu , i need to stay in pointers face to use tachymeter
I agree with you in general. I like that it wasn’t there on the Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Watch3. But they honestly did it in a way that keeps the watch looking premium. It doesn’t intrude on the design as much as it could have.
Can someone help me decide if this watch is actually worth the money? Or would I be better off getting a different smart watch, also how long do yours stay charged and how often do you need to charge it? I'm not fond of having to charge daily
Whether or not it’s worth it I think is very subjective. I get about 2 to 3 full days off a single charge. Whether or not there’s a better smart watch option for you also depends on what phone you’re using. If you’re using a Samsung and care about the health features on this watch, then the Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic are definitely the best watches for your money. If you don’t care as much about the health stuff and mostly just want notifications, the ability to answer calls from your wrist, reply to texts, etc. and you have a Samsung phone, save a few bucks and go with the Galaxy Watch3.
And by the way you still get some health features with the Galaxy Watch3, just not quite as many. One thing to note is the GW3 uses Tizen, not Google’s WearOS like the GW4. You may already know that, and may not care.

The orange strap is a brand called Alpine. I’ve linked to it in the description. For the silver watch, I would recommend either the black or the white Samsung Hybrid Leather band. I have both and they each pair super nicely with the silver watch.
That is the million dollar question. Waiting to see just how much of the watch we’ll be able to use with the Pixel 6 series for example. It doesn’t seem that all of the health features will quite be available on non-Galaxy devices.

I wish I could get a silver one. In Canada, its only sold through Samsung as an online exclusive. Its never been available as it just says "get stock alert". Total BS
You can! Both of them show up in the Wear app and you can choose which one to connect to. That is, both are paired with the phone but not connected at the same time. But it is seamless, if you leave the house wearing one the phone will find and connect to that one as it is the only one in range, with the other watch left at home.
Thanks for your video. I am actually shopping the Watch 6 Classic but there aren't many videos comparing the black vs silver. I was initially leaning towards the silver because it makes the bezel pop and I have a fossil "dumb" watch that is silver with a black leather strap and I love how it looks. I went into a Best Buy to look at both side by side but I'm kinda turned off by the silver in person, idk why. I think it's what you said about black being more versatile. Man, I have the watch 3 in silver and I think they really messed up this new one in regards to looks Now the "active" (gw4) looks way better than the classic, which is not classic at all with those silicon bands, c'mon Samsung. What were you thinking? And one more difference I think it didn't work was the silver crown. I think the silver watch with the black crown would be the best combo (like it was back in the GW3). And this band that doesnt bend is really ugly. So you have to spend more money to buy another one immediately (maybe that was the whole idea)
I actually agree with you. I started to miss my silver Galaxy Watch with the black crown a bit. I even missed that it is a little bit bigger. This watch is definitely nice though, and a bit of a change. Considering we will all probably upgrade smart watches every few years or so, we don’t have to deal with this year‘s designs permanently.

Honestly, unless your wrists are tiny go with M/L. I think S/M will mostly be for women. Petite women at that.

I agree with you in general. I like that it wasn’t there on the Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Watch3. But they honestly did it in a way that keeps the watch looking premium. It doesn’t intrude on the design as much as it could have.
Try using Silver/Grey Milanese band with the Silver Watch 4 . That will be awesome looking

Can someone help me decide if this watch is actually worth the money? Or would I be better off getting a different smart watch, also how long do yours stay charged and how often do you need to charge it? I'm not fond of having to charge daily
Whether or not it’s worth it I think is very subjective. I get about 2 to 3 full days off a single charge. Whether or not there’s a better smart watch option for you also depends on what phone you’re using. If you’re using a Samsung and care about the health features on this watch, then the Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic are definitely the best watches for your money. If you don’t care as much about the health stuff and mostly just want notifications, the ability to answer calls from your wrist, reply to texts, etc. and you have a Samsung phone, save a few bucks and go with the Galaxy Watch3.
And by the way you still get some health features with the Galaxy Watch3, just not quite as many. One thing to note is the GW3 uses Tizen, not Google’s WearOS like the GW4. You may already know that, and may not care.

rather than buy 2 watches there are a bunch of cheap skins dial and straps to chose from which will change the look to whatever you like
Who makes that orange band with the silver? What leather band do you suggest with the silver?
The orange strap is a brand called Alpine. I’ve linked to it in the description. For the silver watch, I would recommend either the black or the white Samsung Hybrid Leather band. I have both and they each pair super nicely with the silver watch.

That is the million dollar question. Waiting to see just how much of the watch we’ll be able to use with the Pixel 6 series for example. It doesn’t seem that all of the health features will quite be available on non-Galaxy devices.

Can you have two watches connected to one Samsung phone??
You can! Both of them show up in the Wear app and you can choose which one to connect to. That is, both are paired with the phone but not connected at the same time. But it is seamless, if you leave the house wearing one the phone will find and connect to that one as it is the only one in range, with the other watch left at home.

Thanks for your video. I am actually shopping the Watch 6 Classic but there aren't many videos comparing the black vs silver. I was initially leaning towards the silver because it makes the bezel pop and I have a fossil "dumb" watch that is silver with a black leather strap and I love how it looks. I went into a Best Buy to look at both side by side but I'm kinda turned off by the silver in person, idk why. I think it's what you said about black being more versatile. I wear my watch all the time for everything - gym, work, formal events, and so I think I'm leaning towards black. Your insight is appreciated! I'm gonna check out your video on the best straps for the Watch 6 Classic.

Man, I have the watch 3 in silver and I think they really messed up this new one in regards to looks Now the "active" (gw4) looks way better than the classic, which is not classic at all with those silicon bands, c'mon Samsung. What were you thinking? And one more difference I think it didn't work was the silver crown. I think the silver watch with the black crown would be the best combo (like it was back in the GW3). And this band that doesnt bend is really ugly. So you have to spend more money to buy another one immediately (maybe that was the whole idea)
I actually agree with you. I started to miss my silver Galaxy Watch with the black crown a bit. I even missed that it is a little bit bigger. This watch is definitely nice though, and a bit of a change. Considering we will all probably upgrade smart watches every few years or so, we don’t have to deal with this year‘s designs permanently.
@@esthetech yeah, I guess. But I'll end up upgrading to the GW4 or GW4 classic anyway. The software and hardware changes are too good to pass. I was thinking about getting the regular gw4, but since you pointed out the virtual bezel is not even as good as the old active two I got a bit worried Id miss too much the rotating bezel. There are always those little covers you can put on the ring

Not at all. If you bang it around it will scratch of course, but otherwise the color is the same as it was since day 1.
That annoying non bend is a really problem if you have small wrist.
I didn't even think about it. But, I'm ordering a wristband anyway. So, it shouldn't be an issue
