I’m in the US, we have the regular raptors and large trucks in general. People have done v8 swaps on them and it’s been cool, but it’s just been putting a truck 5.0 in another truck which is cool but not the most original thing. This swap is honestly one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a while. Y’all’s ranger raptors are a lot lighter and paired that with the mustangs 5.0 is heavenly. The mustang is so at home there, a faster reving better sounding 5.0 in my opinion because of the compression ratios and cams. This whole package is badass and we need something stateside like this as it would 100% kill everything on the street and dirt.
I think a major factor of why FORD didn't pursue the 5.0 as an optional engine package is twofold, one they are still trying to meet CAFE standards in the USA, secondly, they want to push the eco-boost as the only option for both power and performance. Nothing replaces a naturally aspirated engine, the Eco boost is great, until you start to have turbo problems. I'll take the 5.0 in a heartbeat. @4x4 Australia, you should see if you can fit a 5.0 in the new BRONCO.

I reckon there is a definite market for a V8 Ute! This looks like a sick build ! Well done fellas !
Nah mate, a V8 ute will never sell in Australia. Nobody would want one.
There definitely is now with all the diesel emission crap they are bringing in
V8 utes aren't making a comeback with more emissions cuts. Great idea that holden and ford missed out on, european companies would of never done it.
