“working in piles” is reality. at least for me it is. I could get my room all fancy looking, neat little boxes and totes and bins. one session having to pull from 4 or 9 of the containers and everything would be strewn about and that’s where it’d stay.
Danielle, I love all your ephemera, both the printables and the vintage items! The stickles and gel pens really do make them more festive, sparkly and fun! And thank you for all the binder information. Your hard work in trial and error helps a lot for those, like me, who have been wanting to try this out. All in all: very good information! Thanks for sharing.
Danielle, this was really great! I’m excited to watch how these journals come together and I’m excited to try one of my own! The information that you share is SO SO helpful! Thanks again! Happy Halloween 🎃
YAY! I've missed your videos! Did a little happy dance when I saw this posted! ❤ I have the same cooky book & was thinking of using it for my Christmas journal this year - thanks for the inspiration! Question for you- what kind of printer do you have? Your images are so bright. I just can't get that kind of vibrant print from mine....
Yay! Go for it! I have an epson ecotank printer and I use matte photo paper with the printer setting set on highest print quality. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for watching and commenting! ❤️💕❤️💕
Thank you! Have fun! I don’t start working in my personal journal until after Christmas as well! I wish I could do December daily but there is NO way that can happen in my life right now.
Hi! I’m new here. I have to say that I love your Christmas journals! What a good idea to make one from a cookie cookbook! I have some Christmas books but I seem to become overwhelmed when I get them out lol. I don’t know!🫶🏼
Hi! I’m so happy that you are here! I know the overwhelm feeling. EVERY time I start a project I feel the same way and just keep at it, taking “small bites” at a time. Go for it!!!
Danielle, I love Stickles.... it adds so much to the paper or anything really. Can I ask what Digital you used for the bag of cut out emphera .. Completely adorable...🥰
Hi, Good Morning! I use whatever size I can get my hands on. I’ve found that at least 2 inches is needed if you want to add a lot of embellishments. For reference, the butter cookie one is 2 inches and the cooky book one is 2.5. I *think* the one Ive used in my Christmas journals the last few years is about 1.5. Hope this helps 😊

Exactly! Especially when you only have so much time to create. The last thing I want to do is clean it up each time 🤪
That was some GREAT useful info and ohhhh the eye candy. Your Christmas journals are going to be epic.
I hope so!

Good morning Danielle, great video as always. What size are the actual rings on the binder mechanisms?

Where do you get the 2 ring binders for the journals?
I got them on Amazon a few years ago
Hi Danielle, Where do you buy your cute little girl playing cards?
I purchased them from eBay
