One last thing… December means the weather stays in the 80s which cools down the pools somewhat. They don’t have heated pools. That’s another thing we look for when booking a resort depending on time of year.
@@rogerromo5065 They do have canned beer in your room. They also have bottled beer and can at the bars. Swim up bars only have can I believe for safety.
@@robertocoto1389 we prefer the Coral level since it’s adults only and we have the option to visit the selection side (family side). If you are traveling with your family then you have to stay on Selection side and then decide which room type is right for you. They have several room option types. We love beach views and won’t stay in rooms that don’t have that option. So really if you don’t care for beach views then your options really open up.
1. We were asked to attend a rock show at the theatre 🎭 on the Selection side, which is normal practices. However, we found out later they charge 40 dollars to attend. I thought that was odd. Glad we didn’t attend. We heard this from another couple so we didn’t confirm the charge for attending. 2. If you get there extra early like us, might be worth the extra 150 to have a pool cabana pre booked. It’s private, you can shower change and relax in the AC and watch Tv if you need a break. Pool cabana check in is 9am. Room check in is 3pm. 6 hour difference. 3. If you stay on the Selection side, the steakhouse will charge extra for lobster 🦞 option. If you stay in Coral side then it’s included.
We arrived June 7 2024. The weather was perfect, no rain. The news has been showing a tropical storm 🌀 with heavy rain this past week. Now it looks clear again. Just keep an eye on any tropical storms or hurricanes developing out there. Rain all day everyday can ruin your summer fun.,
We are going to Live Aqua Labor Day weekend. Just booking it now. Simply because we been to Iberostar 3x now. Live Aqua we have been to only once in December 2023. It’s really completely up to you. We love both resorts but they are completely different. Live is one resort all inclusive adults only. Iberostar is 2 sides. Family/Adult. If you enjoy long walks and going to different parts of the resort for dinner and for shows then Iberostar is it. If you prefer one location with everything pretty much around you, then Live is perfect. Both have amazing beaches. Live is a bit more relaxed and quiet while Iberostar is more of an upbeat vibe. Not a party resort like Breathless but it’s right in the middle. Live Aqua has a smaller pool off to the side with a swim bar and sometimes a Dj. So they have some fun stuff going on. But the main pools are very relaxed a quiet. You don’t get that same relaxation at Coral or Selection sides of Iberostar. We are uploading a new video today of 10 things to look at when booking your resort. You may want to watch it. We call it “top 10 things to consider when booking a resort”. If you have more questions just keep them coming. We love interacting with fans of Cancun.
@@FunMiniVacations thank you so much ☺️ I’m going first time and don’t want to make a wrong decision… are those walks are very inconvenient? How about food and entertainment did you have preferences?
@@martaraven4031 the walks are not inconvenient but it is a long walk to the theatre. If you prefer they can take you on the golf cart. We prefer the food at Live Aqua over Iberostar. Remember Live Aqua is adult only so you won’t have to be around young children. At Iberostar unless you only stay on Coral Level which is hard to do because then you don’t get the full experience that you are upgrading to, you will be around families at the restaurants and the theatre when you walk to Selection side. 🎭
@@OksanaAdamiv-t2d Hi! You have the option to stay on the adult side or the family side. It’s your choice to book on the Coral Level which is the adult side, or you can book the Selection side, which is the family side. Some resorts are one or the other. At Iberostar you can choose family side or adults only side. If you want exclusively adults only then we would recommend Live Aqua or Breathless Soul Cancun. We have a short video on Live Aqua posted on our channel. 😃
