@@539sharp Live Aqua is adults only but there is no topless anywhere that we’ve seen. Not on the resort or the beach.

@@Mikey5-O I agree with everything you said. We did not recommend the Carnivore steakhouse. It’s not included and pricey for what they serve. Everyone we talked to prefers to go to Harry’s which is not far down the street for a great steak 🥩. The nightlife is hit and miss. We got lucky with the Silent party and had a great time. Another night they had music at the Egos bar, not too lively but enough for us. We get in a certain mood and we book accordingly to what we want. We want our next trip to be more lively at night so in December we are going to Breathless Soul Cancun. They have a Dj everyday all day, then evening outdoor parties followed by the on resort Night club “After Dark”. So we think Live Aqua is a mix of relaxation and fun but not over the top. Breathless on the other hand is super lively and fun but not for everyone. Some people don’t like seeing girls twerking and dancing and getting loaded. We don’t mind as long as that’s what we signed up for. December will be a fun party time for us. Then in February we will most likely go to a more relaxed resort. Thank you for enjoying our video. Also we appreciate the feedback. The more feedback back we get from other couples the more helpful our channel is to people wanting reviews on this resort. We love Cancun and we love sharing our experiences! So thanks again and maybe Breathless would be a resort you and your couple friends would enjoy more. We have a few shorts on Breathless. @@mwest9769 not really. If you make a reservation they will seat you quickly. If no reservation required then it’s a short wait. I think the longer wait is for the earlier dinners. We go a little later.

@@mwest9769 well as Aqua upgrade members your butler makes the reservations for you. The first time we went we just made our own reservations since we had no upgrade. So I guess you are correct.

@@KirthiGowda-b8n I have never heard of a limit. We take 2 iPads. 2 iPhone, 2 beats headphones, 1 Mac book pro, 1 go pro, 1 light for night recording, 2 wireless mini microphones, numerous accessories for the go pro. Hoping to take a mini drone next time. 😋 if you know something we don’t please share. So far never any issues and haven’t ever heard any limit.

@@KirthiGowda-b8n we are looking into it today. I didn’t exactly understand the question, I was thinking in terms of TSA but the customs 🛃 question makes more sense. Some new rules that haven’t affected us yet. But we are going in December so we need to get the Latest information. I’m glad you brought it up.

We appreciate all the love. ❤ We are from Fort Worth. We enjoy traveling around Texas and Cancun. This was one of our pool parties last year I think. We love to hang out by the pool and enjoy the swim up bar. One of our favorite things to do in Cancun!

@@CarmelaO-2023 we booked this while at Isla Mujeres. We made a video about different things we’ve done at Isla Mujeres. This was on the video. Please watch it and give us a like. We filmed the talking parts while at Live Aqua. Basically it’s a stand right outside of a restaurant as you walk to the right as you leave the ferry ⛴️ dock. Maybe a block away. It’s an hour long and really fun.

@@aprilsveryown1 I would choose Live Aqua because its exclusively Adults only. There is no going to the family side (Selection) for restaurant options. We had dinner at Live Aqua and it was nice every night with adults only. At Iberostar we couldn’t hear ourselves talk because of the teenagers and kids around us at the steakhouse. It was loud. Watch our latest video on Live Aqua, its 3 parts covering each day. Our next trip is to Breathless Soul Cancun. That is more of an adults only party resort. We have shorts on breathless but we will do a full video on our next visit.

Nope. Honestly I would just go to Harry’s Steakhouse down the street and enjoy a nice steak dinner without the resort up-charge.

@@shamimkarbakhsh7593 well for this trip we used Priceline. They offered different packages and one included the aqua upgrade. So thought it was a good deal. Our next trip is already booked. We got an even better deal so we are going to Breathless Soul Cancun.

@@robertocoto1389 we prefer the Coral level since it’s adults only and we have the option to visit the selection side (family side). If you are traveling with your family then you have to stay on Selection side and then decide which room type is right for you. They have several room option types. We love beach views and won’t stay in rooms that don’t have that option. So really if you don’t care for beach views then your options really open up.

@@FunMiniVacations Live Aqua had a Mexican Independence Day Festival with an array of authentic Mexican buffet which was wonderful. The vibe is definitely different compared to our first trip 8 years ago. Perhaps my wife and I are just older and don’t “party” as much. 😂

We usually tip 5-10 dollars depending on the atmosphere. MB is really a romantic vibe with a piano player and great food. We appreciate the great service so we tip roughly 10 US dollars. At the outdoor restaurants we tip 5-7. At breakfast buffet we do about 2-3 dollars. But we also tip our bartenders 1-2 dollars each time we order drinks at the different bars. They really appreciate it and they do give you great service in return. We see lots of people not tip anything. We usually go to the bank a day before our trip and get 100 in ones and 100 in 5s and 10s. We come back with almost half of that. Sometimes we go crazy and make sure we give it all away before we leave lol

We were in Cancun last year and stayed at the Hyatt Zilara and for dinner, we tipped $20+ because we appreciated the excellent service they provided. They work so hard and don’t make a lot. But I also noticed that some people don’t tip at all 🫤 This time we will be more mindful of how much we tip. We realized that we overtipped.

@@CarmelaO-2023 20 dollars is a generous tip for an all inclusive but it’s the Hyatt Zilara! Well worth the money! We want to go there one day. We seem to keep visiting the same resorts over and over because we like to stay in our comfort zone. But Zilara is on our bucket list.

HZ will unfortunately be closed for renovations this spring. I believe for 8 months? We were bummed as it’s was a beautiful resort and the food and service was amazing. We planned on going back but they told me they were closing for renovations

@@CarmelaO-2023 we loved the silent party. The 3 djs and option to pick the music on the headphones was great. Also a volume control in case you don’t want it too loud in your ears. Taking off the headphones and listening to all the terrible singing was also worth it. I believe it started at 10 and went on until 1am which was enough for us.

@@CarmelaO-2023 Thank you for the kind words. The day beds around the swim up bar/pool are first come first serve. Any cabana bed (with curtains) are for daily rental. We thought the nightly entertainment was sufficient to meet our expectations. They have fire shows, circus shows, silent party at egos bar. They also have live singers and djs on different nights. We only go on the weekends. Mini vacations Thurs-Sun. We usually leave on Monday. I have heard that Mon-Wed they may be lacking on nightly entertainment but we have only done weekends trips. We don’t feel it necessary to leave and go to coco bongo. We prefer to stay on the resort for the night entertainment. We only do daytime excursions if we leave the resort. Although LIve Aqua is close to the fun bars (only 5 mins away in a taxi)

@@mikejones5364 we do actually spend more time at the beach but we mostly just relax which makes for boring video. One day we had the cabana bed so we just stayed mostly at the pool. We did about an hour at the beach for lunch. I think on day 3 we actually spent more time at the beach but we just relax. We did play volleyball 🏐 but that’s about as active as we got. We are more drink eat relax-repeat…

@@707theflyest it’s perfect weather in November and December. We went during Christmas last year too.

@@mikejones5364 the weather was around 85-87 for the high. At night it’s still in the 70s so not bad at all. The pools do cool down a bit at some resorts. We look for heated pools so we don’t get cold water chills. I know Breathless has heated pools. Iberostar and Princess Yucatán don’t. We were at Princess Yucatán in February and that pool was so cold. It was almost unbearable until the alcohol hit then it’s not bad.

@@gcjohnk703 don’t be fooled by the weather. Rain is in the forecast almost everyday and it either doesn’t rain or it rains for 5-10 minutes and back to the fun. You can see in our video that there’s rain clouds and it rained on the other side of Cancun but not on our side. Then it rained for 5 minutes while we sat on the runway. Then we took off and it was dry again. It’s the crazy tropical weather. - just keep your eyes out for hurricanes 🌀 now that is a vacation spoiler.

@@kloun1980 Some of the restaurants do have dress code. They post a sign with what’s acceptable dress wear at their hostess stand. I zoomed in on the dress code of MB and Azur. Maybe you can pause the video to have a look and get an idea of their dress code. I should be uploading day 2 video today. I’ll be showing the dress code for the Italian restaurant Varenna on that video. If you eat at the buffet then no dress code really. It’s mostly for their specialty restaurants including Hidden Garden, Carnivore, MB, Varenna. Carnivore steakhouse is the only restaurant not included with your stay. Even with our Aqua Club upgrade it was still not included. I still had steak at MB so don’t need to pay extra for steak. 🥩

@@lazerdog345 it’s not like a party resort. They do have shows outside and a bar with fun events. We did the silent party at Egos bar. We have a video on the silent party on our channel. It’s was really fun. Another night we saw the acrobat show while enjoying dinner outside. You may have to go off resort to get the nightlife experience. It was good enough for us to stay on resort. When we want to party we stay at Breathless Soul Cancun. They have After Dark Nightclub on the resort. We have a short on it on our channel also. They also have the neon party and other fun entertainment. We have a lot of fun shorts on our channel to help you decide.

@@lazerdog345 The night time events include, Egos bar open until 1am. They have a schedule of different events from karaoke to a singer, or the silent party. We’ve been there when The bar is open with no events and they still play music and have a bartender to serve the drinks. They also have shows outside during dinner. The pools don’t close, however the swim up bar closes so you won’t have a bar available for drinks. The pool bar closes at 6 pm. That’s when people head back to the rooms to get ready for dinner. After dinner you can hang out at the lobby bar or Egos bar. Some people head off the resort to near by Senior Frogs or Coco Bongo. The bars at Live Aqua close at 1am. Same at other resorts. Even the night club on site at Breathless Soul Cancun closes at 1 am. I am not sure if the resort keeps their bars open past 1. Unless you stay at Temptations lol.

@@lazerdog345 I have seen people stay and swim later in the fun pool with the swim up bar and not have issues. The main pools do have night events like outdoor grills going and the acrobat show over the pool area so they will close those pools for dinner. I think if you use the fun pool it shouldn’t be an issue. Our go to food is the Habanero soup. It’s on the menu as crema de Hambanero. It’s inside of a garlic bowl bread. Delicious. Then the filet mignon both are at MB restaurant. Varenna Italian restaurant was good too. The seafood pasta. They also have a 7 oz steak. You must also experience eating at the Hidden Garden. You can’t go wrong with those 3 restaurants. MB is the one with the dress code that is strict. Pants and nice shirt. (Not really strict) The others are outdoors so shorts and a shirt is good. They really just don’t want wet swimwear and sleeveless shirts. If you look casual then you are good. If you look like you just fell out the pool they will request you change.

Hi! It’s a 5-10 min shuttle/taxi ride. It’s right next to Hard Rock Cafe and Coco Bongo. Depending on traffic. There is a Señor Frogs across the street at the mall however that’s just the store.

@@thelenny38 the beach is a 5 out of 10. Not impressive compared to the beaches at Iberostar, Live Aqua, or any of those neighboring resorts. Xhale pool is on the higher roof top and it’s a quiet lounging pool for Xhale members only. We don’t see any benefit in upgrading. We prefer the fun Party pool with the Dj playing from 11am-6pm. If you want a relaxing pool you can visit the main pool at beach level. Some people say it’s worth the upgrade but we want to party and have fun 🤩 and that Xhale club pool is just for lounging.

@@rogerromo5065 They do have canned beer in your room. They also have bottled beer and can at the bars. Swim up bars only have can I believe for safety.
