As a Packers fan i can also say that Sam Darnold isn't a bad QB either. The Vikings played good ball while Green Bay played sloppy at first. Then the roles reversed. But in the end Love went to rally the troops the best he can but the special teams was what really doomed the Packers, Yet that also wasn't the first time we lost because of missed field goal. And the other comment summarizes it well. Both the Packers and Vikings usually split with the visiting team winning and it's usually the second meeting that matters most. And there's also the fact Love just came off an injury and wasn't 100% which you can tell do to him not being as mobile. And also rust likely set in for a bit but too little too late.

Just a little food for thought : With the crappy Jets and Panthers, Sam Darnold beat Detroit (with the Jets) when they had Stafford (in his first matchup) and then beat Detroit (with the Panthers) when they had Goff.
And those teams he was on did not have the type of playmakers he's got now. Also consider that TJ Hockenson could be back for that Lions game and let's just say things aren't going to look too good for the Lions.

This is a bad game for them and they should have won it. They didn't ever stop trying to win, the game just didn't go their way. Jj got away with a facemask which resulted in a td and got away with an opi, while also getting a very weak dpi

@@Asynurrwrong, the Vikings couldn’t keep going, the packs we’re playing the same way the whole game, Vikings just had a second half problem, the Vikings should and did win for a reason, and yes the only bad call by the referees was the interception by Green Bay, he easily was out of bounds, but easily look at Green Bay’s penalty and you see all them happen, Vikings should have won and they did for a reason, there better then the packers even if the packers are really good they are better in general and rankings

@@Astrea946im a ravens fan (we are always considered contenders but always stink in the playoffs) i thought love played pretty decent, his picks weren't bad, vikings had a lot of help from the refs in the first half extending their drives and letting jj get away with back to back opi and a facemask. However the game was super entertaining lol, vikings look good, but if i were y'all i would be scared of the packers, they will have your number the 2nd game this year
