Willis had great momentum from the last 2 games, and Love should have had one more week off to heal. They brought Love back too soon. It might not have changed anything regarding final score, but I think they should have played Willis one more week.
@pauljohansen8043: No, you're not the only one. Personally, I wanted the Packers to start the quarterback who had the momentum, which would have been Malik Willis. However, the team is paying Jordan Love a great deal more than Malik, and Love probably has something to prove to himself and his team. Still, he was hurt by having to throw over fifty passes and the four turnovers. Jacobs and Wilson were healthy, and running the ball more often might have kept pressure off the GB defense. We'll see what next week brings us. Also, Narveson concerns me a great deal more than Love. Geez, the Packers still could have won in spite of themselves if their kicker was accurate.

Don’t worry us packer fans get it. It’s like how every year you talk all this junk but by week 18 you’re in hibernation…. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while and this year it’s just taking slightly longer for you to suck. Don’t worry I detect 3 losses in a row coming to a game near you
I’m glad they showed a lot in that last quarter, but honestly… I wish love had just been pulled after they fell so far behind. The 2 wins from Willis make it so the season is still fully on, I’d much prefer love to be healthy than ‘he’s the starter’
I'm optimistic - Vikings are crazy good. The only reason Packers made it close, is that teams often let off the gas when they're shutting out a team. Packers were not playing like a cohesive team. The pieces are there and so is the talent.
Vikings had to let the foot of the gas. The refs were being too bais with their refereeing. Letting the packers convert 3rd downs with dropped passes. Trying to stop the vikings from moving the ball. Giving the packers an int. If the vikings kept playing like they were all game would have gave the refs to many excuses to affect the game and let the packers win.
Not 'neck and neck', that's cope. Without the muff and that charity interception, graciously gifted to you by the league, this wouldn't have looked close.
I’ll be honest - I was half expecting Jordan Love to regress this year. I have the thought in my head, how much of the Packers success last year was due to Rodgers being gone and no one really having tape on Love. Being signed to as much as he was for a good half a season, I can see it happening, though I’d like to be proven wrong. This game wasn’t that - Love was coming off an injury, sure, but this was very much two very different games depending on the half. The Vikings essentially got bailed out by intercepting a Hero Ball and a Fumble Recovery, sure, but it’s not a good sign when the starter is 0-2 while the backup is 2-0…
Ive also wondered if that was the case, Love looked fairly poor in the first half. Those low throws looked amateuresque. Lots of silly mistakes that to me look more like shaking off rust and regaining confidence on leg. But he did look like a real quarterback in the second half, he commanded and tore up that defence
This game was full of a ton of missed opportunities from the Packers. They had 4 turnovers, 2 turnovers on downs, and 2 missed field goals. Any game where you give up 8 possessions like that is going to be an uphill battle to say the least
Also could say refs were a difference maker for the packers. I mean they usually do not let players catch balls out of bounds or let drop passes on 3rd turn into 1st. But for the packers they were sure willing to make the exception
@@Y1kes_18 the final 35 minutes were garbage time. The moment the game became within reach for GB, MIN put their foot back on the gas and pulled away. Y’all were a muffed punt away from likely entering halftime down 35-0. It felt like Minnesota got way ahead and decided they wanted to save their clever/well schemed up plays for when they’d need them in future close games. No doubt if y’all played a 2nd game tonight, Minnesota easily wins that one too.
Great game for both sides, major Vikings fan here, Tom is easily my favorite Packer fan, and he deserves a ton of respect and recognition (which he rightfully has gotten!) I do believe the game got closer than it needed to because we wanted to give jones the TD😂 but nonetheless, we will have a fun division for many years to come! Ggs!
As a Vikes fan this is the perfect win for the Vikings. A win thats close enough to a loss on a winning street is a good wake up call to keep cleaning up miscues and tighten up on offense and defense. We don't want the team getting too cocky.
Can I just say as a Packers fan, I have so much respect for the Vikings right now. They are extremely cautious and could’ve hit Jordan love a lot harder.
Can't wait till Mondays stream to donate: "Go Vikings". Teasing aside, love the channel! This game could have went 40 different ways for sure. Weird calls, weird mistakes, huge amount of drops, muff punt blinded by the light but inside the ten?
Can we talk about the downfall of Christian Watson? I mean what happened? He can't stay healthy, he's clearly lost the burst and explosiveness that he had as a rookie. He's basically 4th on the depth chart. I think this may be his last year in green and gold and he's one of my favorite players.
@bowser6047 yeah he led the team in targets when healthy last year and still couldn't do anything with it. Granted the team has had a more run heavy focus this year with Love being hurt but still, Watson been a complete non-factor.
When the Packers were actually playing, they looked really good. Probably huffing some major copium, but I hope Love was just readjusting to playing a real game, and the Vikings were able to build momentum off that on top of them genuinely being really damn good this year. So hopefully next week Love will be more comfortable and ready to play 4 quarters of football instead of just 1.
I feel that the Packers really lack discipline. The penalties are piling up week after week! Key turnovers and or penalties during the game. I also think the lack of movement at the line of scrimmage made things easier for Vikings D. But penalties are killing this team and that does reflect coaching typically.
True. The vikings basically gifted the packers 17 points and they still lost. Vikings played really sloppy from the muffed punt until about 2/3 threw the 4th quarter. Reality is vikings won because they made 1 or 2 less mistakes
Of those 8 penalties we had. 1 OF THEM WAS ON MATT LAFLEUR! No wonder our players aren’t disciplined because our head coach isn’t even disciplined lmao

@josephpayton7522 this is why u aren't a hc or gm. He played fine. 4 TDs 400 yards, 3 INTs which you cannot blame him for except the last one. He played well imo, you are the worst kind of fan.
@@Asynurr I thought I wasn't a HC or GM because of the totalitarian elite. Thanks for alleviating that. Knowing that the only thing standing between me and being a HC or GM is my own lack of intelligence is the most American and capitalism thing I've heard all week.

@@josephpayton7522bro said that’s the only game he played good in 😂
@@josephpayton7522 Well shit if someone had told me fully automated luxury turbo communism meant everyone gets to be a GM or HC I would've become one years ago. Thanks for the insight, comrade.
Very good game greenbay. You seem to have finally exposed our offensive and defensive weaknesses slightly too late to win. I just hope we adapt next week in london and keep it going. Keep love healthy.
Vikings fan here. I love your videos!
Got to keep in mind they were trying to feed Aaron jones so he could get a touch down at the end of the
As a vikings fan blowing out the packers 28-0 was so nice then crushing the comeback dream at the end was also very beautiful 😂.
Vikings why do you always stress me the fuck out 🤦♂️
That's the Vikings way
I just hope it's not 2016-17 all over again
@@WillFilicetti me too 😅😅😅
@@WillFilicetti Zimmer isn't HC
Don’t worry us packer fans get it. It’s like how every year you talk all this junk but by week 18 you’re in hibernation…. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while and this year it’s just taking slightly longer for you to suck. Don’t worry I detect 3 losses in a row coming to a game near you
I’m glad they showed a lot in that last quarter, but honestly… I wish love had just been pulled after they fell so far behind. The 2 wins from Willis make it so the season is still fully on, I’d much prefer love to be healthy than ‘he’s the starter’
It was a tough division battle at greenbay im excited to see it at US Bank now
I'm optimistic - Vikings are crazy good.
Can we name the Vikings the Darnolds now 😂😂😂😂😂
No lmao
I think the Jeffersons would fit better.
Ya Sam Darnold isn’t exactly carrying the Vikings
Not until he stays
Where is Thom? I want the reaction of a winner!
I was at the game with my vikings girlfriend… long 4 hour ride back to the twin cities
I bet she had some fun at your expense. My husband is a cowboy fan and I'm having a great time!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
SKOL! That second half was hell for both teams lol
Love is back to his early 2023 bad habit of bunny hopping constantly on passing plays. If he does not fix this he will not reach his ceilingm
This game was full of a ton of missed opportunities from the Packers. They had 4 turnovers, 2 turnovers on downs, and 2 missed field goals. Any game where you give up 8 possessions like that is going to be an uphill battle to say the least
Cant wait for the kicker tryout vid soon
Best first half I've ever seen.
The difference was points left on the board. Two missed FG, turnovers and digging that huge hole in the first half!😢
Also could say refs were a difference maker for the packers. I mean they usually do not let players catch balls out of bounds or let drop passes on 3rd turn into 1st. But for the packers they were sure willing to make the exception
The final score was deceiving. The Vikings wiped the floor with you guys
No they didn’t 😂
@@Y1kes_18 the final 35 minutes were garbage time. The moment the game became within reach for GB, MIN put their foot back on the gas and pulled away. Y’all were a muffed punt away from likely entering halftime down 35-0. It felt like Minnesota got way ahead and decided they wanted to save their clever/well schemed up plays for when they’d need them in future close games. No doubt if y’all played a 2nd game tonight, Minnesota easily wins that one too.
Great game for both sides, major Vikings fan here, Tom is easily my favorite Packer fan, and he deserves a ton of respect and recognition (which he rightfully has gotten!)
I do believe the game got closer than it needed to because we wanted to give jones the TD😂 but nonetheless, we will have a fun division for many years to come!
I guess the Vikings are a problem to worry about now
Can't wait till Mondays stream to donate: "Go Vikings".
Viking fan here hate your team but love ya Tom Skol
Score may look close but the Packers were crushed by the Vikings today.
I feel that the Packers really lack discipline. The penalties are piling up week after week! Key turnovers and or penalties during the game. I also think the lack of movement at the line of scrimmage made things easier for Vikings D. But penalties are killing this team and that does reflect coaching typically.
4:48 “if we didn’t play so bad maybe we should have played better”
This rematch is definitely gonna be an important matchup this season. Skol
Nah. Bye that time vikings will have wrapped up the 1# seed
GGs and much respect but you make it sound like the Vikings played a perfect game. The packers may have had 4 turnovers but the Vikings had 3(2).
True. The vikings basically gifted the packers 17 points and they still lost. Vikings played really sloppy from the muffed punt until about 2/3 threw the 4th quarter.
Reality is vikings won because they made 1 or 2 less mistakes
Missed these breakdowns.
As a vikings fan i genuinely hope Watson and Wyatt have a speedy recovery! I hate seeing any player get hurt...
Love does risky throws. I'm amazed more weren't picked.
Of those 8 penalties we had. 1 OF THEM WAS ON MATT LAFLEUR! No wonder our players aren’t disciplined because our head coach isn’t even disciplined lmao
Vikings def fell asleep at the wheel in the 4th qtr and it took 2 scores for them to wake up.
Figured this would be a closer game, but not this way
Vikings fan here super sorry about Watson he’s good and it’s never fun to c people get hurt weither they’re on ur team or not. Hoping for a speedy recovery we wanna c him for round 2. 🤷♂️Skol🙏
Anybody, and I mean anybody but the purple incarnation of satan
As a Vikings fan this felt like us against the Packers the last couple of years of Rodgers. Just letting us get back in the game to crush it all in the end
SKOL Tom! ❤
