Holy shit - It's finally good again... I quit watching after the first couple of races post-ALMS. But this... This is beautiful. This is what GT should have always been. Still miss the insanity of ALWAYS running Prototype and GT together but I'll give it up for outstanding GT variety like this. There's still the proper endurance races for that so yeah. Good job guys. I'm so back in for this.
It's like they are scared to race each other though. First Camaro left when the new Mustang came in and now the new Camaro shows up and the main Mustang quits the series. I don't think this series is a good presentation of the makes though with the balance of performance rules.
I don't believe Scott Maxwell and the Multimatic Ford quit, according to his twitter they are doing some testing for Ford this week with the most recent release of the Ford GT road car to U.S. buyers, and had to miss this week.
GT4 is a weird set of regulations with a weird set of cars (though Camaro and Porsche aren't strangers to each other for IMSA Competition for both WeatherTech and Conti, go back to the pre-merger days), and with R8 and AMG set to debut late in the year in Europe, we'll be bound to get a set of cars that the average Joe simply wouldn't think of even racing directly against each other
That was some great "officiating" there towards the end. . . If you are going to have a rule, enforce it consistently. Either that or just drop it because it's stupid
I'm new to this type of racing. Can anyone please tell me how someone wins? There is no lap counter so that's why the confusion on my part. Sorry for the dumb question. It is definitely fun to watch.
MrShupe if you do not gain position or are forced off due too tight racing with again no gain there is no foul. at least that's how I understand the rules are in forced.
IMSA big thubs up for posting all the racing on RUclips! sure helps for those that have cut the cable....
Ouch the audio's all screwed up
Thank you on RUclips we can use the set :)
That McLaren sure does look nice, but Go! Chevy and Ford! As well as sweet Miata!!!
I miss the old days of the continental tire challenge and the Rolex sports car series

Thanks for uploading @IMSAOfficial but please fix that audio!
I agree on the audio. There's some awful interference on the trackside and in car mics.
Stephen Brown.
Excited to finally see Chevy vs Ford!

Yeah, what is the deal on the audio??? Very strange. But thank you IMSA for the upload! :-)
Great 6th place finish for the #59 Korh Motorsports Mustang !!
I love it when Heindorff says he may need quiet & a darkened room
So nice to finally see the Camaro's out there.
Those McLaren's are nice
Great battle between Liddell and Hindman. To bad they both were not able to maintain the lead after that battle.
Changing times when I hear "Camaro" in the same sentence as McLaren and Porsche (not to mention the same lap ... yes, I know... Z/28R).

I believe Porsche was the reason why GM came out with the Camaro and Firebird back in the day. All three cars had excellent handling (sway bar, etc).
1:09:16 - [HOLDING MY HEAD] ¡Ay, caramba! Was that a good sportsmanship?!
Fun Dialogue:
Pink Car - "Why?"
Orange Car - "Sorry!"

It's a timed race. So after the time runs out, the leader of the race gets the checkered flag at the start-finish line and thus becomes the winner.
Thank you for the response. Here is also something useful. scoring.imsa.com/
Thank you again.
Brutal audio artifacts. Bummer
Very poor officiating on track limits. Lots of cars clearly putting all 4 wheels off with no apparent drive-throughs.

thank you for the clarification!
Pfft... What a funny name
excellent racing but the commentary is a total let-down.
glad for the upload......but this track is so boring for these cars :(
Those Porsches just sound awful!
